Magnetic Field Imbalance May Be Cause For Bird Deaths

The recent deaths of birds literally falling from the sky in two locations on earth, may be linked to a Magnetic Field Imbalance indicating that the Pole Shift that is predicted for 2012 has started already. Birds use the magnetic field for navigation and could be using it for much more than we can understand today. But not only birds died an unusual death… Could the Earth’s magnetic fields be causing the recent die-off of thousands of birds and fish? Scientists believe so, along with environmental imbalances.

In the United States, thousands of Blackbirds suddenly came dropping from the sky in the state of Arkansas over the past holidays for which no official reason for cause of death has been communicated by authorities. Only few days later, hundreds of other stories from all around the world emerged reporting similar phenomena.

Here’s a closer look into the Earth’s Magnetic Fields. What are exactly and how do birds use them to migrate?

To better understand the working of our planet’s magnetic field, compare it with a bar magnet where the positive and negative represent our North and South Poles. Our magnetic field is a protection shield creating a sort of a bubble around the Earth to protect us from solar storms and winds, asteroids and other objects floating around in space. Scientists explain this magnetic shield due to the Earth’s inner core’s electric currents. These currents circulate at speeds comparable to the working of a dynamo, caused in part by the rotation of the Earth (spinning at 1000 km per hour). Since the effect works similar to an electric generator, the Earth’s magnetic field interacts with the particles from solar storms and winds and in turn creates a so called aurora borealis near the Poles.

According to Goethe-Universitat scientists in Frankfurt, Germany, birds use photoreceptor cells located in the bird’s right eye to ’see’ the Earth’s magnetic fields. These receptors create shades of light, which guides the birds on their treks North & South and keeps them on track.

The question now is, could the changes in the Earth’s Magnetic Field be causing the deaths of 1000’s of birds?

The same university in Frankfurt made a study revealing that birds would lose their bearings in case they would not see the Magnetic Field and hurt themselves or even die. Not long ago, in 2008 NASA reported a massive breach in the Earth’s Magnetic Shield, which was detected by a spacecraft of theirs named THEMIS. Enormous geomagnetic storms can easily be caused when solar winds get through this breach and it is very possible that such geomagnetic storm has directly caused the deaths of the numerous birds across the globe.

To conclude, magnetic storms can be the cause of several phenomena that we are seeing on Earth lately. Besides birds (Blackbirds, Penguins, Eagles, and Pelicans to name a few) falling down dead from hunger and exhaustion, radiation may exist by high solar power, radio transmission may be impacted, and our planet can be bombarded with high-energy charged particles due to this breach in the Magnetic Field or Shield. Furthermore, such magnetic storms can cause Earth crust changes, leading to landslides, mudslides, volcano eruption and earthquakes. Anyone seen any of those recently? You bet!

Scientists saying this…yet where do you read or hear about this in the news? Exactly! Instead we are being told by ‘them’ that this is all normal, that we just have more accurate information now than before, and that Global Warming is the result of exhaust gases… Make up for yourself and spread the word!

Missing Heaven By 18 Inches

The debate rages on over what it takes to obtain eternal life. With thousands of religions in the world claiming that theirs is the “only way to heaven”.

Upon a close examination of all religions, they have a few things in common.

1. They require you to do some type of work.

2. They require you to adhere to the rules of their organization.

3. Their leaders are all mortal human beings.

Only true Christianity is based not upon an organization but instead, on a person. Jesus claimed that He alone was the only way to heaven and that failure to receive Him as Lord and Savior meant a person would die in their sins.

1. Christianity is not based on anything you can do, but what Jesus has already done.

2. You cannot keep the law of God perfectly, no matter how hard you try. That is why you need a sinless Savior.

3. The leader of Christianity is Jesus, the Eternal Creator of all things.

If you asked most people about Jesus Christ they would tell you that they know who Jesus is. The problem is that knowing who Jesus is, is not enough to have eternal life.

A person can know intellectually many things about Jesus and even spend their whole life going to church, reading a Bible and studying the life of Jesus. None of these will give you eternal life.

Jesus said that on the day that He returns to earth and requires all men to give an account of their life to Him, this is what many will say to Him:

Matthew 7:22-23 “Many will say to Me in that day, “Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, “I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!“

The Greek word for “know” here is Ginosko, “to have close and personal relationship with”, and “to know by experience”

Jesus said the key to heaven and finding eternal life is not whether you know Jesus, but does He know you. It is possible to know everything there is to know about Jesus but not know Him personally.

There is a moment in a person’s life where they make the transition from and intellectual knowledge of Jesus, to a heart felt belief. You can say with your mouth that you believe in Jesus, but you must also believe this in your heart in order for salvation to take effect.

Romans 10:9 “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.“

The Lord knows the exact moment when you go from knowing about Him to actually knowing Him personally.

If you mentioned various names of people that I have met in my life, I could tell you that “I know them”. The truth is though that perhaps only one or two could I say that I have intimate knowledge of.

How does a person go from general knowledge about someone to an intimate knowledge? You would need to go through a few struggles in your life in which this person was a part of your trial.

Perhaps a member of your family became very sick and then eventually passed away. A true friend would be right by your side through the darkest moments of that loss. As a result of going through something that was so painful, you would have grown very close to a friend who was at your side through all the distress you felt.

When Job finished the trial that he went through with the Lord, he said something very interesting at the very end of the story:

Job 42:5 “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You.”

In other words, “Lord at the beginning of this terrible trial that I went through in which all of my children died, I lost everything materially that I had in this world, and the loss of my own health to the point of my death, I only knew about you from what I heard other people said. Now that the trail is over, I can see with my own eyes what you are really like.”

Therein is the key to eternal life:

To know Jesus through your own suffering and that He is so very close to you and remains close by your side through all the most difficult moment of your life. Paul wrote that the way that He came into the closest relationship with Jesus, was when he suffered:

Philippians 3:10 “that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death…”

Yes a person can know about Jesus intellectually all of their life but never believe in their heart and make the relationship personal.

How far is Heaven? Not far really.

Just 18 inches, the distance from your head to your heart.

The Magoi

6 January 2010: The above image is an artistic rendering of thethree Magoi (Magi). In fact, there had to have been quite an entourage who accompanied the Magoi, primarily because of the basic fact that no one makes a 1,000+ mile round trip journey across the desert between Mesopotamia and Israel on foot without a supply and life sustaining caravan and significant numbers of mounted cavalry for protection. The actual number of gentile visitors from the east was probably closer to 300 than just 3. It's a minor miracle that the illegitimate Roman puppet King Herod did not think the appearance of this caravan was the advance guard of a Parthian Empire invasion force.
The importance of the whole story about the Magoi is quite likely unknown by most Christians. That's because we've not spent much time learning about it, even though it is Scripture, Old Testament prophetic Scripture at that.
Oh, we all know and have visualized one way or another the "We Three Kings" Christmas carol, and have seen Nativity scene imagery like the above for the sum of our lives, but that's not the half of it. There's more... so much more to the story.
The more I think about it, the more I am astounded by the fact that the GENTILE Magoi who came out of the Parthian Empire and made this tremendous journey did so after fervently holding to the prophet Daniel's detailed prophecy (9:24-27) concerning the coming of the Hebrew Messiah for over 600 years, and waited generation after generation for a very specific sign, and all the while knowing the precise number of days until the Messiah's birth.
And then once that sign appeared and the number of days had elapsed they rounded up the multiple parts of a large caravan and the water and provisions for the entire group's survival, plus the gifts for the object of their 500+ year devotion for what had to be a round trip of something well in excess of 1,100 miles across barren desert.... I stand here in awe thinking about it.
The caravan was quite probably a round trip from Seleucia to Jerusalem and back, on foot and by beast of burden, of GENTILE believers coming from the Magoi's descendents of Nebuchadnezzar's Babylonian Empire, the Persian Empire and Alexander's and the Seleucid Empires to the Parthain Empire of the Roman Era.
That these GENTILES, these Magoi, had clung to and fervently believed in the exquisitely detailed God-breathed prophecy of Daniel concerning the coming birth of the Messiah for hundreds and hundreds of years, through all of the events, wars, and tumults that had occurred in this crossroads region of the known world, is without question the greatest account of the prophetic Word of God causing belief in the God of Israel among gentiles in history.
Having been in those same Middle Eastern deserts, such a specifically purposeful journey undertaken 2,000 years ago is mindboggling to me. These gentiles from the regions and lands of Israel's captivity knew the details of, believed in and all the while eagerly awaited the birth of the Messiah. And the Jews, for the most part, due to their disobediance and the spiritual blindness and deafness placed upon them by the Covenant of Moab, besides the Covenant of Horeb, (Deuteronomy 29) knew nothing of His coming.
And here we are, knowing in detail that the days of time which are left until the advent of Daniel's 70th Week are all but palpable... just stand in awe and in praise of God brothers and sisters, just stand in awe and praise to be a living part of all this.

Do you have a Sense of God’s Presence?

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith . . .” (Ephesians 3:17).
A good friend asked me, “Do you fell you are adequately experiencing the presence and power of the Holy Spirit?” That is a probing question every Christian should pause and consider.
I firmly believe that every born again believer is indwelt by the Holy Spirit, but not every believer is yielded to His control. Our experience of His divine presence depends upon our yielding to Him moment by moment. If the Holy Spirit is to have a larger part of our lives we must make a deliberate choice and allow Him to take control.
The Spirit wants to fill our lives so that Christ may settle down and make Himself feel completely at home as a permanent resident in our hearts (Eph. 3:17). Our prayer should be that Christ would settle down, even now, in our hearts and take control as the rightful owner.
Imagine what it would be like to experience the “fullness of God” (v. 19). Paul was praying that we may be filled up to or unto all the fullness that is in God Himself. That will not take place until we stand complete and perfect in the likeness of Christ at His coming, but it can be our prayer and vision now. Paul was praying that we would be filled and filled and filled and filled forever, as God out of His infinite resources increasingly pours Himself into His redeemed people.
David Brainerd wrote in his diary April 21, 1742, “O My sweet Savior! Who have I but Thee? And there is none upon earth that I desire beside Thee.” Then he added, “If I had a thousand lives, my soul would gladly have laid them all down at once, to have been with Christ. My soul never enjoyed so much of heaven before; it was the most refined and most spiritual season of communion with God I ever yet felt.”

Signs of the Last Days: Remember Noah

Matthew 24:38-39 “For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”

Jesus said that in the days just before His return, the spiritual condition of men on the earth would be as it was in the days of Noah. During the 100 years that Noah was building the Ark and warning of a coming judgment, people went on with their daily lives with no thought of God, nor the results of their actions. When the Ark was finished, judgment came and it was too late for anyone to be saved.

The Bible describes the fact that in the days of Noah, the thoughts and intention of man was constantly towards evil. Every thought of man’s heart was towards evil. The last time that the world reached a pinnacle where sin abounded to such an extent that it covered the earth, the Lord destroyed all living things by covering the earth with water.

Genesis 6:5-7 “Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the LORD said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.”

Today, people will wake up and go off to start their day with no thought of God, nor the results of all of their actions throughout the day. One day, just as suddenly as in the days of Noah, Judgment will come again. Jesus will return and remove all those who have recognized their sin and have come to God in repentance and have looked to Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Then will begin a time of horrors on the earth the likes of which no one in all of their mind could imagine. Two-thirds of those who dwell on the earth will perish in three series of seven judgments, each of which will grow progressively more severe.

The question is: Are the days in which we live, similar to the days in which Noah lived?

When Paul wrote to Timothy regarding the last days, he told him that “In the last days perilous times would come…” Then he listed a set of negative qualities that would be present in the behavior of men, indicating that this was the generation referred to by Paul’s warning.

2Timothy 3:1-5 “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!“

Are people today lovers of themselves?, yes. Is the population of the earth preoccupied with making money and spending money?, yes. Are men proud and boastful?, definitely.

And we can go down the list that Paul gave to Timothy and find that every one of these characteristics listed are present today in the lives of people all over the earth.

During the 100 years that Noah was building the Ark, people passed it everyday and saw before them a stunning reminder of the judgement that God had said would come. Yet everyone not only ignored Noah and the Ark, they laughed and mocked him for even stating that judgement was going to come.

With all the violence and sin that was in the world, there was one man who “Found grace in the eyes of the Lord.” Was Noah a perfect man, no of course not. Noah recognized that he was a sinful man and that he needed God. He needed a Savior to cover his sin so that his guilt could be removed and Noah could go on and live his life in a relationship with God. Noah pursued a relationship with God and that is why he found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

The rest of the people on the earth cared nothing for God. So the Lord saved the one man who loved Him, out of the earth before the judgment began. Just as Jesus will remove all those who love Him in the last days before the Tribulation begins. There is not a single place in the Bible where the Lord permits those who love Him to be judged along with the rest of the world who does not Love Him.

Genesis 6:8-10 “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God. And Noah begot three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.”

Genesis 6:11-13 “The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth. And God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”

Today, we live in a world where most people have no daily thought of God. The thoughts and intentions of their hearts are also continually towards evil. It s not that they cannot be saved, it is that they are unwilling to be saved. Those who have no thought of God are not loved less by Him than those who recognize their need for forgiveness of their sin and look to Jesus as their Savior. God loves the whole world with such intense and fervent love that He was compelled to do something about our sin. He sent His only Son to pay for us. If we desire we can have the forgiveness of all our sins and know that heaven is our destination when we depart this earth. It is up to us, it is our choice.

Peter wrote that one of the signs of the last days and the soon return of Jesus and the coming judgment of the seven year Tribulation, was that men would begin to mock the fact that Jesus is coming soon.

2Peter 3:3-4 “knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”

2Peter 3:5-7 “For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.”

When the final generation is living on the earth and sin has once again reached a pinnacle, then men will begin to ridicule those who teach that Jesus return is near. And this they willfully forget; that once in the past God destroyed every living person on the earth by covering it with water. If God did not spare those who would not turn from their sin and turn to God then, He will not spare those who refuse to take Jesus as their Savior now in this final generation.

Then Peter explains why the Lord has seemingly taken so long to return and bring His judgement: He is giving people time to repent. If it has seemed like a long time, remember that God dwells in eternity where there is no passing of time. To Him a thousand years passes as though it were a single day.

How long has it been since Jesus promised to come again, 2,000 years? No, only two days….

2Peter 3:8 “But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”

In the Old Testament the Lord stated that “He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, why don’t you turn now and repent.” Judging the world and allowing those who reject Jesus as their Savior to go into everlasting fire is not something that the Lord is looking forward to. That is why He has put it off so long already.

People mistake the longsuffering and patience of God for license to sin as much as they want to. “The Lord doesn’t care if I sin. If He did then why hasn’t He judged me and sent me to Hell already?’

The answer is: Because He loves you so much that He does not want you to go to Hell. That is why He allowed His own Son to die for your sins. It s the reason that judgment has takes over 2,000 years so far since Jesus died. God is patiently waiting for people to change their minds and come to Jesus for Salvation.

But, The Day of the Lord will come. When it does it will be quick and sudden and it will take the world by surprise because most people are not watching for Jesus return. Then when the Lord does come , it will be to remove from the earth all those who have been watching and waiting for Him to come. Soon after the seven year Tribulation will begin by the signing of a seven year peace treaty between Israel and the surrounding nations. At the mid-way point of the seven years, a new world ruler will declare himself to be God. This will begin what Jesus described in Matthew chapter 24 as “The Abomination of Desolation”. This event will trigger the Great Tribulation. For the last 3 1/2 of the 7 years, Jesus will pour out His wrath on the world that has Rejected the sacrifice He made on the Cross and has counted the blood of His covenant as nothing. Two-thirds of those who dwell on the earth during this time will perish in the 21 plagues of those last 3 1/2 years described in Revelation 6-18.

Then Jesus will return to the earth at the end of the seven years with His church to set up His kingdom on the earth for 1,000 years. Righteousness will reign over the whole earth and there will be no rebellion against God any longer.

At the end of the 1,000 years, Jesus will destroy the heavens and the earth and recreate both brand new. Those who had rejected Jesus and awaited their judgment in Hell will be raised to life to stand before Him at the Great White Throne Judgment. All of these will be found guilty of their rejection of Jesus and be cast alive into the lake of fire for eternity.

The Lord is Love, He is the very definition of what Love is. He is also Justice and man has sinned against God and is therefore worthy of judgment. God was willing to withhold that judgment from man and place it upon Jesus for a limited period of time. When a person dies, their fate is sealed and there is no longer any hope for them after they have departed. The decision that they have made to accept or reject Jesus was sealed at the moment of death.

For the living, there is each day of their remaining life to make a decision either for or against Jesus. To make no decision is to be against Him. Only a firm acceptance of Jesus as Savior and Lord guarantees a person escape from Judgment and the sentence of Hell. The Day of the Lord is coming and from the appearance of the way the world is today, it will not be much longer.

2Peter 3:10 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.”

2Peter 3:11-13 “Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.“

This morning I am writing from Cebu in the Philippines. A week ago we ordered something from the United States that we needed and could not find here in the Islands. It was sent by the United States Postal service. When I placed the order I was given a tracking number so that I could watch for the arrival of the package. As I have checked the progress of the items I ordered, it came into the Philippines, went through their customs process and then went out to be delivered to me here at my residence. Today the package is set to be delivered and I must watch for the postman. If I did not know that there was something coming, I would not be watching. If I was not watching, the event would happen and I would miss the one who came for me.

The Bible has given us a tracking number for the package of our redemption to be completed. It is set for a certain delivery date. If we are not watching the progress of that delivery it will come and we will miss it.

Jesus is coming soon and then it will be too late for many to be saved. Today is the day to live for the Lord and to tell your friends and family that He is coming soon and that without Jesus there is no hope of eternal life. Do not be afraid to tell them the truth. If you love them you must tell them. If they reject you and your message do not despair. You never know that perhaps in the final moment of their life they will remember what you told them about Jesus and turn to Him and be saved.

The Lord Bless you as you are bold and declare to all those you come into contact with in these last days that Jesus is the only way to Heaven and that eternal life is found only in Him.

Blackbirds Fall From the Sky In 3 States Arkansas, Louisiana and Kentucky

Absent a final explanation, wild theories abound concerning reasons Arkansans’ saw black birds fall from sky and fish die off en masse. The event revives superstitions about birds as omens.

Lets just think realistically. We will forget all the prophecies and pretend that Nostradamus never existed. There were no prophets in the past. We will forget all the threats from skies as well. 11. planet X called Nibiru is unknown and not even one asteroid is coming to destroy this civilization. No comets, no earthquakes, no pole shifting, tsunamis and so on. Just imagine, there is no danger. Even, if everything will be working fine, I can tell you, end of the world or at least of this "civilization" is very, very near. We will destroy our world in world war 3
Are we living in civilized world?
No, I'm not correct. The world civilization is from civilized. But people are not civilized!!! Or do you think, that developing more and more sophisticated weapons and using them against people with no or weak defense? Why don't we help in Africa, where people really need help? Is this really the sign of intelligence? Are we truly civilized? I don't think so... I believe, there is a lot of you out there having same opinion, but do you think, that things in are going to change? Each of us is a part, tiny part of this huge mechanism. This mechanism called "civilization" cannot run without us and we rely on it as well. We are so close attached to it. We couldn't survive without it. Its all based on the business and money.
Who makes profit from wars?
The question is who runs it, who control this crazy world? Don't use google search or Nostradamus' quatrain finder. Just think about it. It could be politics, but i think there are still small fishes. Did you ever see somebody powerful without money? The more money - the more power. If we will apply this rule, we will find the "people" who ruled us all for centuries. I worked for a while with shares. I was told, there are two types of shares. One of them are gaining in time of war and another in time of peace. I was shocked. The teacher explained me totally calm: "When you will have full storage of old weapons, you have to make room for the newest models. And how to get the customers? Think about it. The scheme is always the same. And will lead to another conflict - world war 3.
The Money beast will like world war 3
Before World War 2 it was still kind of fun, but the Money Beast didn't stop even after Hiroshima and Nagasaki where 240 000 people died in few seconds after Nuclear explosions. The total armament race began all over the world after this blood bath. It was called Cold War. It's just the question of time before global arsenal will be used to wipe out this "civilization" out of the earth. If countries like Iran or South Korea will hold this powerful devices, the world won't be safe place to live.

Jesus said: “My people, you saw Moses in the vision today as the parallels with Me are many. We were both threatened with death in our infancies. Moses was protected from death by the Pharaoh’s daughter, and I was taken to Egypt with My parents so Herod could not kill Me. Herod killed all the boys up to two years old in Bethlehem, which is the reason for today’s feast honoring these holy, innocent babies. Even today many innocent babies are still being killed by abortion. Moses had a mission to save his people from the Egyptians as he brought them to the Promised Land. I had a mission to save all of humanity from their sins by My death on the cross. Moses celebrated the Passover meal with unleavened bread and the wine. At the Last Supper I also celebrated the Passover meal, but I consecrated the bread and wine into My very Body and Blood. This is a new spiritual manna that gives eternal life at every Mass. When Moses was in the desert, there was miraculous food and water that were multiplied. During My ministry I performed many miracles as well in multiplying the bread and fish for the multitudes of people on two occasions. Moses raised up the bronze serpent to heal the people from their snake bites. I was raised up on a cross and many were healed by the sacrifice of My Blood. There are many such parallels of the Old Testament accounts with the New Testament. As you read the Scripture accounts, you can learn how to be a good Christian by loving Me and your neighbor as yourself.”

Jesus said: “My people, St. John is the one apostle who loved Me most as His Master. He was the only apostle not to be martyred, and he took care of My Blessed Mother in her later years. He wrote his Gospel later with a heavy emphasis on My Resurrection, as he saw the empty tomb in today’s Gospel. He also wrote some letters and the Book of Revelation on Patmos. His writings are words of hope and encouragement for My faithful. His words on eating My Body and drinking My Blood that would give eternal life are very direct and profound. His words about the end times are very connected to My son’s mission of preparation. Continue to proclaim My promises, and keep leading My people to My refuges of protection. Know that in the end I will defeat the evil ones and bring about My Era of Peace.”

Jesus said: “My people, with a steady number of volcanic explosions, you have seen a lot of smoke and particles get placed in the upper atmosphere. With a sufficient amount of clouds and dust, there could be a reduced amount of sunlight that could have a cooling effect on the earth’s temperature. Unless there is an increase in sunspot activity, there may be more global cooling than global warming. Just when scientists think global trends are going in one direction, then natural occurrences create an equilibrium with no net change. The bigger events will be going on with an increase in evil more than any natural disasters. Pray that My faithful will be ready to go to My refuges before more of My faithful are martyred.”

Johanna Brandt Grape Cure For Cancer

Sometimes it is worthwhile to come back to an article which may be of benefit, especially when dealing with a subject such as cancer. Johanna Brandt was a South African lady given up for dead by the medical community as terminal, suffering from incurable advanced stomach cancer.

She proceeded to to eat nothing but grapes for several weeks. After being seen again by the doctors they were amazed the cancer had disappeared and left some slight scaring in her stomach. The grape has tannic acid and it is felt this substance is very beneficial in fighting cancer.

I have used this treatment myself and I can say it will eliminate toxins from the body very rapidly. You will lose weight. One can become very weak at first as the toxins and impurities are released into the blood stream. Some people have had to use enemas the first few days. When I use it I sometimes cheat a bit and drink grapefruit juice. You can also drink grape juice. I occasionally have a sip of merlot with it also to kill the pain.

You will notice impurities breaking loose in the lungs and sinus area also. It is part of the cleansing process. It is not a program fro everyone as staying on grapes for several weeks can be quite a challenge. There have been times when I cheated with a can of tuna or fish and then resume the diet. (fish from the gulf these days are of course use at your own risk) A salad once in awhile did not seem to slow the process much as long as you go quickly back to the grape regiment and don’t forge ahead into steaks, cheeseburgers and beer afterwards. I also take some cod liver oil and or coconut oil from time to time with it. In fact I am doing it now as I have just had the swine flu.

You can eat all the grapes you want, it doesn’t matter, the more the better they will just run through you. I generally get by with three or four hand fulls a day with maybe some juice added. If you throw in a handful of almonds, it is almost like a blood transfusion as the protein in almonds is similar to blood protein and likewise for the grape.

I might add the first time I tried this many years ago I managed to go 22 days and lost 30 pounds of mucus and toxins in the process. Afterwards once I began eating again, I never felt better.

Earthquake-Solar Activity Relation

There has been a clear correlation proven between Sun Induced Earthquake Activity and Daily Total Earthquake Energy Released. Patrick Geryl’s prediction of the 87 days intervals of solar storms (so far he’s been dead on each time - read previous posts here below) have independently been linked. Dogstarmist.com reported this recently and analyzed George Ure’s findings.

The graph below shows you the correlation between the two remarkable elements that may explain why we are getting more and more intense weather and earth behavior. This week I visited the earthquake-struck Christchurch in New Zealand, which was hit by a 7.2 on the schale of Richter in September 2010 and has since had multiple thousands of aftershocks, causing more than $6 billion in damage thus far. Interestingly enough it has been more than 16,000 years since the previous earthquake struck New Zealand’s third largest city.

It is not clear what has happened, but remember I alerted you to the unusual amount of earthquakes hitting Arkansas since September. There have been over 500 hundred minor earthquakes! The scientists have no idea what is causing these earthquakes.
The quakes are centered near Guy, Arkansas. The fish and bird kills are in the same area. Something very strange is happening in this area, as the earthquakes, fish kill and bird kill are all in the same location.

Jesus said: “My people, this Sunday is dedicated to My Holy Family, but it is also meant for all families. Just as I called fisherman to be My apostles, I am always searching for souls to pull them into My love. The family is based on love and it is beautiful. A man and woman are joined in marriage with the sacrament of Matrimony. It is love that brought them together for a life long commitment. Just as it is out of love that I have created everything, so it is out of love that children are brought into the world. It is in this family setting of loving parents that the children are raised up to adults. This is why fornication, adultery, and divorce are destroying family life in the way that I meant it to be among you. Marriage is a responsibility in faith as well as living according to My laws. Living together does not have the same commitment in neither faith nor bringing up children. When your society is more concerned with pleasure and materialism instead of living in loving marriages, then you can see the downfall coming in your country. Pray for all married people and that your children see the need to avoid living together in sin.”

Jesus said: “My people, all of the signs and symbols in the vision are another description of the coming Warning. The stage of life is where you perform your daily actions, both good and bad. The flames represent the souls of life who are each accountable in their life review. The circling glass clock means that the time of the Warning is getting close. Your life review will focus on your unforgiven sins, so your best preparation is to go to frequent Confession at least monthly. The Warning will be an opportunity for even the worst sinner to have a second chance at changing their lifestyle. This will be a spiritual wake-up call also for all the lukewarm souls who could be lost if they do not change their lazy ways. Your judgment will show you where you are headed if you continue on your present path. Returning to your body will give you a second chance to be saved which is more than those who die without this opportunity. Keep focused on Me as your love that you would want to be with. By accepting Me as Master of your life and seeking the forgiveness of your sins, you could receive eternal life in heaven.”

Jesus said: “My people, I was fortunate to find a place to stay in a cave for the animals. Today, many families travel great distances to be with each other on Christmas Day. You usually have a big meal and then share your gifts around the Christmas tree. Only this year you will be praying a decade of the rosary before opening your gifts. Remember this moment with your pictures as you pray for your family members to save their souls. You have seen in the Scriptures how the shepherds and the Magi traveled a great distance to see the new born King. Even today, you would travel a distance to receive Me at a Mass. In some areas of the South you had to travel hundreds of miles to find a Catholic Church. In the coming tribulation you also will find it difficult to have a priest for a Mass. By the grace of My angels you will have daily Communion, even if you do not have a Mass. Rejoice while you still have your churches for daily Mass, because a time is coming when they will be closed by the evil ones.”

(Vigil Mass) Jesus said: “My people, in this vision you know that I am the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity. Yet, with all of My power in the universe, I was able to take on a human nature and I still remained God and Divine at the same time. This Incarnation into a human is a mystery that is hard for man to comprehend. Still, becoming a man was part of My means to redeem all of mankind. Many prophecies were given of My coming, but some people had different expectations of Me coming as a powerful king to free the Jews from the Romans. Many had difficulty in accepting My Gospel of love because it meant changing from a life of greed and pleasure. Even the people of today have the same difficulty because man’s desires and wants have not changed over the years. The real understanding comes when each of you discover that you have a spiritual life in your soul that can only be satisfied with My peace. Follow your spiritual desires to be with Me more than any worldly desires of the body.”

Jesus said: “My people, there were many events that had to be fulfilled for My plan of salvation to be carried out. One miraculous event was the birth of St. John the Baptist to his parents Elizabeth and Zachariah who were advanced in years, for everything is possible for Me. Zachariah was struck deaf and dumb for not believing St. Gabriel’s message that he would have a son. At the birth of St. John, Zachariah gave a beautiful canticle that is read in the morning for the Liturgy of the Hours. St. John was prepared as My messenger in the desert who would herald My coming and prepare the people with repentance. As you are about to celebrate another Christmas, you can see how all the pieces of salvation history were orchestrated and brought together so all souls could be redeemed by My sacrifice.”

Prayer Group:
Jesus said: “My people, as you are about to celebrate Christmas, there is much preparation at each church to give honor to My birth. This year your church’s Nativity scene is especially beautiful with your different statues. Many of your people will be grateful for these beautiful decorations. Christmas is a solemn feast day in My Church, and it is one of the major highlights in your Church Year. As you celebrate in giving your gifts to each other, remember to say your decade of the rosary before you open your gifts.”

Jesus said: “My people, even as you celebrate My feast of Christmas, remember in your prayers to pray especially for those families who have lost their homes to various natural disasters or terrorist actions. Some terrorists plan their attacks around Christian holy days as a defiance against any belief in My coming as the Son of Man. They believe that I was only a prophet, and not God incarnate as a man. My coming to earth as a man had an exact reason, to bring salvation to all of mankind by My death on the cross. Defend My Incarnation as a man to witness to the world that God truly has visited His people.”

Jesus said: “My people, the angels sang My song of glory for the shepherds, and they led the shepherds to My crib at Bethlehem. Rejoice in their singing: ‘Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace among men of good will.’ The angels brought their light to My crib. Wherever you see Me, as in My Blessed Sacrament, My angels are around Me singing My songs of praise as they do in heaven. If you were to see Me in heaven, you could hear all the choirs of angels singing My constant praises.”

Jesus said: “My people, in My day there were not many ways to draw attention to a great event as My birth. So I used natural means to display notice for a supernatural event when I was born as a man into your world in the history of time. You have recorded history of My time on earth as you measure your years by before and after My birth. There are some atheists that want to do away with the meanings of B.C. and A.D. See that I watch over My people, and I love you so much that I died for each one of you.”

Jesus said: “My people, there is a great richness in the promise of a Redeemer who would come to My Jewish people. This vision of the Wailing Wall represents the remnants of the old Temple. I have built My Church on a new rock in My apostles, and on the kingdom that I brought into the world. I have come to save all peoples of all nations, and not just the Jewish people. When St. Paul reached out to the Gentiles, you could see the true universality of My Word that I have brought to all of mankind, even if some do not believe in Me.”

Jesus said: “My people, you are seeing some areas expanding My churches, but there are more churches being closed. Where the faith is strong, there are plenty of priestly vocations and whole families are coming every Sunday to Mass. Where the faith is weak, your attendance at Mass is falling and there are priest shortages. My religious leaders need to do their job in building up the faithful numbers.”
Jesus said: “My people, if you truly want to come and share your gifts with Me on Christmas, then make an effort to come to Mass on Christmas Day or the vigil so you can be with Me in My Eucharist. My sacramental Presence reaches out to all of you so you can share in the graces of My Eucharist. Christmas is one of My great feast days, so you should make an effort to come out to greet Me and give Me praise and glory in your singing. Pray for all of your family and friends that you could be an inspiration in leading them to Me in heaven. Saving souls should be your most important vocation in life.”

Seven Major Prophetic Signs of the Second Coming

There are seven major prophetic signs of the Second Coming, and currently all of them are in some stage of fulfillment. As in years past, I’ll list the seven with their primary biblical references and offer commentary from current events.
1. Israel Will Be in the Land … Ezekiel 36:8-12, 37:21
Speaking to the Land God said,

“You, O mountains of Israel, will produce branches and fruit for my people Israel, for they will soon come home. I am concerned for you and will look on you with favor; you will be plowed and sown, and I will multiply the number of people upon you, even the whole house of Israel. The towns will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt. I will increase the number of men and animals upon you, and they will be fruitful and become numerous. I will settle people on you as in the past and will make you prosper more than before. Then you will know that I am the LORD. I will cause people, my people Israel, to walk upon you. They will possess you, and you will be their inheritance; you will never again deprive them of their children.

And to the people,

This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land.

Although Ezekiel wrote these words while the Israelites were in Babylon, they were not fulfilled in the nation’s return from exile there. Like Isaiah before him (Isaiah 11:11) Ezekiel was speaking of the second and final return. Therefore in 1948, when Israel took its place among the nations of the world again for the first time in nearly 2000 years, students of prophecy recognized the fulfillment of the primary sign that the end of the age was upon us. Jesus said that some from the generation being born when this happened would still be alive when He returned (Matt. 24:34). Both Psalm 90:10 and Isaiah 23:15 hint that an average Biblical life span is 70 years. Since 62 years have passed since Israel became a nation again after being absent for nearly 1900 years, students of prophecy have cause to believe that the end of the age is upon us.
2. Jerusalem Will Be in Jewish Hands… Luke 21:24

They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

The Lord prophesied that the reunification of Jerusalem as a Jewish City would be a sign that foreign (gentile) influence over His land, and indeed the world, was about to end (Luke 21:24). Fulfillment of this prophecy began in 1967, and scholars saw it as another major sign that the End of the Age had begun. The almost world wide effort to take the city apart again is in essence a battle of wills. Nearly every Israeli leader has stood firmly on a pledge to keep Jerusalem united forever as Israel’s capital, but the unbelieving leaders of the world are just as resolutely determined to divide it.
The Lord said that at the End of the Age He will make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling, an immovable rock for all nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves. (Zechariah 12:2-3) This past year much of the attack against Israel has been focused on Jerusalem. American leaders, traditionally some of Israel’s most loyal allies, have publicly called East Jerusalem occupied territory and demanded that no more Jewish homes be built there. They’ve even tried unsuccessfully to halt construction in undisputed neighborhoods. Through out the year the European Union has pushed for an official declaration dividing Jerusalem to make way for a future Palestinian State to have part of the city as its capital. And several Middle Eastern and South American countries are said to be working with the Palestinians to introduce a UN resolution that will unilaterally declare a Palestinian state in the Promised Land, with East Jerusalem as its capital. Behind all this of course is a spiritual battle of massive proportions. While there’s no doubt as to the outcome, the battle continues to be a fierce one.
I’ve come to believe that Jerusalem won’t really be free of Gentile “trampling” until the Lord returns. Daniel’s prophecy that Gentile Dominion would not end until the Lord establishes His kingdom (Daniel 2:36-45), Zechariah’s prophecy of the city being captured and divided just before the Lord’s return (Zech. 14:2), and John’s observations in Rev. 11:1-2 of the gentiles trampling the outer court of the Temple during the Great Tribulation all confirm this. But even so, the fact that Jerusalem is back in Jewish hands is another big sign that the End is coming soon.
3. A Moslem Coalition Armed and Led By Russia Will Attack the Holy Land… Ezek. 38:2-6

“Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal; prophesy against him. This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army – your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops – the many nations with you.”

Numerous historical references make it plain that Magog stands for modern Russia, and the other countries named here form a coalition based on their common religion, Islam. (Today Russia is 30% Moslem and growing.) Among them are Iran, several North African countries, Eastern European countries along the Danube, and the Turkic nations of Asia Minor. A quick look at a world map will reveal that these areas are home to some of the most radical Islamic groups. (For a detailed explanation of the modern nations to which these Biblical names refer, read “An In Depth Look At The Modern Equivalent To Biblical Names in Ezek.38″)
The Russians are already a major supplier of arms for the Moslem coalition, just as Ezekiel prophesied, and will be drawn into joining in this battle by God Himself. Russia’s barely disguised policy of becoming the major outside force in the Middle East is playing right into the Lord’s hands. Iran and Russia are well into the implementation of a $50 billion deal to provide Iran with nuclear power. The 10 reactors called for in the deal are supposedly for electrical power generation, but most western leaders suspect they’ll be used to build bombs, too. Some experts had claimed that Iran would become a nuclear power this past year, but due to the extensive damage caused by the mysterious Stuxnet computer virus experts now think a bomb is still a couple of years away. Israel has again vowed to prevent that ever happening, but don’t be surprised if the US continues to back away from its similar promise, even though at year end the language coming out of Washington seems to be getting tougher again.
Russia has also formed commercial and military alliances with Turkey and Syria, and has become Turkey’s 2nd largest trading partner after Germany. They’ve sold Damascus a state of the art anti-air defense system along with their latest generation missiles and anti-tank rockets and are building a major military seaport in northern Syria, in preparation for moving components of their Black Sea fleet there. In Lebanon, Russian Military Intelligence has just about taken over the town of Sidon, spying on Israel for Iran and Syria.
The major obstacle to an early fulfillment of this prophecy is the reference to its occurrence at a time when Israel is “a peaceful and unsuspecting people” (Ezekiel 38:11). This certainly is not the case today, but Psalm 83 is a yet-to-be-fulfilled prophecy that appears to involve all of Israel’s next door neighbors in another attempt to wipe the Jewish nation off the map. The psalmist pleads with the Lord to intervene and defeat Israel’s attackers. A victory by Israel would explain why none of them are named in Ezekiel’s list of antagonists, although you’d expect them to be near the top of the list. It would also explain how Israel could be living in a perceived state of safety as Ezekiel 38:11 requires. Two of Israel’s neighbors, Hamas and Hizbollah, are still making frantic preparations for war and insisting there will be one soon. Not surprisingly, these preparations are being bought and paid for by Iran. Throughout 2010 other experts on both sides publicly announced their fears that war was imminent, but at year’s end it hasn’t happened yet.
But two other pre-requisites for Ezekiel’s battle are clearly being met. In past studies I’ve shown that Turkey will be on the Moslem side in Ezekiel’s battle, but for years Turkey has enjoyed a strong relationship with Israel. That all changed in 2010. The Turkish sponsored attempt to break the Gaza blockade last spring strained Israel’s relationship with Turkey to the breaking point. Public support in Turkey for membership in the EU is also declining, another sign that attitudes toward the West are changing. Turkey’s Prime minister Erdogan believes Turkey’s destiny is to rebuild the Ottoman Empire into the new Middle Eastern powerhouse. He’s getting cozy with Iran and Syria to accomplish this. From all outward appearances Turkey has landed solidly in the camp of the Moslem coalition.
Till now Israel really hasn’t had any wealth to speak of, but recent oil and gas discoveries, said to be worth billions of dollars, could create the wealth necessary to make Israel an attractive target for attack. This could fulfill the prophecy of Ezekiel 38:13 that Russia will be looking for plunder. There could be enough natural gas to supply Israel’s needs for 100 years and turn them from a net importer to a net exporter. Russia is already looking for ways to get involved in bringing this gas to market, and according to Ezekiel they’ll go to war in what will turn out to be a failed attempt to do so.
I believe that the removal of the US as Israel’s powerful ally is also necessary to pave the way for Ezekiel’s battle, because I don’t think the Moslem coalition will attack until they’re sure the US won’t retaliate. Any one of several scenarios currently being played out could accomplish this, especially since our national policy toward Israel is already changing. A deepening recession could turn the nation inward again and cause us to lose interest in defending Israel. Further decline of the dollar on world markets could even render us financially unable to do so. The funds would have to be borrowed, and our ability to repay current debt is already being questioned. The threat or actual occurrence of a major terrorist attack could cause us to stand down. And finally, the Rapture of the Church could deprive the US of both the leadership and manpower to respond. Any one of these would mean serious trouble for the US and all of them have a better than average probability of coming to pass in the year ahead. In summary, it’s a whole lot easier to see the US abandoning its commitment to Israel than it was just a short time ago.
When the time is right, having recently taken His church to Heaven, the Lord will use this battle to orchestrate His reconciliation with Israel, and on its heels the anti-Christ will emerge with a peace plan that includes a Jewish Temple. So once this battle takes place, end times prophecy will really go on fast forward.
4. The Ancient Roman Empire Will Re-Emerge as a Political Force… Rev 17:9-10

“This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits. They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for a little while.”

This one is a little obscure if you don’t know your history. When John was writing this, about 95AD, there had been five great world powers; Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, and Greece. All were conquered and absorbed. The current power was Rome, which was never really conquered and will re-emerge at the end of the age, according to Daniel 9:26.
Daniel 2:36-45 describes Gentile Dominion from Daniel’s time forward (Egypt and Assyria had already fallen) in the form of a giant statue representing the four remaining Kingdoms. Babylon was the head of gold. Persia was the chest and arms of silver. Greece was the belly and thighs of bronze, followed by the two appearances of Rome, two legs of iron (Biblical Rome) and two feet of iron mixed with clay (the revived Roman Empire). Read it carefully and you’ll find some interesting things in the description of the two feet upon which the statue stands. In the first place iron and clay don’t mix. We can imagine sticky clay serving as glue sticking pieces of iron together, but the language describes a clay that’s made of dust and already baked … hard and brittle like shards of pottery. You can’t make random pieces of iron and pottery adhere.
The two iron legs of the statue describe the two divisions of the Roman Empire of Biblical times, Western and Eastern. Today the territory of the Western division is occupied by Europe, while the Eastern territory holds the Islamic countries of the Middle East. They’re the two feet of iron mixed with clay, and both have their problems.
As of this writing the Western division is said to be on the ropes due to economic problems. Some predict these problems will prompt a major re-configuration of the Western leg in 2011 as the weak economies are cast adrift to avoid bringing down the strong ones. Experts also wonder if the combined defeats spoken of in Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38-39 will render the Eastern leg incapable of being part of the World Empire of the End Times. But Daniel had both the statue’s feet in view in chapter 2 so both divisions of the Roman Empire have to be present at the End of the Age. The coming year may bring some eye-popping changes to our understanding of what this End Times Empire will look like.
5. The World Will Embrace a Single Religion… Rev 13:8

All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast – all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world.

Make no mistake about it. Islam is the major religious force in the world today and the goal is nothing less than world domination, by any means necessary. It’s the world’s fastest growing religion and is second only to Christianity in number of adherents. Already nearly one out of every four inhabitants of the world is Moslem, and like most Christians and Jews they don’t really know what they believe or why. I’m no prophet, but as I look into the future, it’s much easier for me to see Islam riding its current wave of momentum to fill the void left by the departure of the Church than it is to imagine some watered down mix of apostate Christianity and New Age Mysticism doing so.
Much has been written recently about al Mahdi, a figure out of Moslem prophecies who bears a striking resemblance to Christian prophecies of the anti-Christ. For example, both show a leader coming on the scene during a time of great turmoil on Earth. Both depict him as man of peace who will have a seven year reign, head up a one world religion and one world government, and claim supernatural origins. Both prophecies culminate in a battle between good and evil that brings about Earth’s final judgment. It’s as if they’re pointing to the same person. The difference is that in Islam he’s a good guy, while the Bible calls him evil.
Take this charismatic political and religious leader with his supernatural power, add the widely held but incorrect belief that God and Allah are the same, and that Islam is a religion of peace, and then subtract the spirit of discernment that will disappear with the Church and you can see how he could be the straw that a world on the brink of disaster grasps for survival.
6. The World Will Accept a Single Government… Rev 13:3

The whole world was astonished and followed the beast.

The last US presidential election showed how quickly a fearful and disillusioned people will get behind someone who promises to change things. When you look at the shape of the world it doesn’t take much to imagine circumstances getting to a point where the whole world will agree to follow a leader who will promise to bring order out of chaos. Whether it’s Global Warming (now called Climate Change), the decline of the US dollar, or war in the Middle East, the one solution everyone is talking about is some form of one world government. With the things that already threaten world stability getting worse by the day, how much more frantic will people be after millions of their neighbors suddenly disappear without warning or explanation, and there’s been a nuclear exchange that brings destruction from Europe through the Middle East and into Russia? All it will take is a leader who can persuade people he can fix things to bring this prophecy to fulfillment. By many accounts, this leader is standing in the wings awaiting his cue.
7. Babylon Will Re-Emerge As A Prominent City In World Affairs… Rev 18:2-3

With a mighty voice he shouted: “Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great! She has become a home for demons and a haunt for every evil spirit, a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird. For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries.”

You may not know it, but Babylon is being made ready to accept its destiny as a city of power in the end times. It’s just a ceremonial city right now, but 20 years ago nobody even knew it existed at all. One of the shocks of Gulf War 1 was the discovery of Babylon standing there on the banks of the Euphrates again. Today there’s a concerted effort underway to complete what Saddam Hussein began and return Babylon to world prominence. The government of Iraq has decided that making Babylon an international tourist destination is in the country’s best interest, and the US is sponsoring a feasibility study to see how this can be accomplished.
Because of Babylon’s current lack of importance in the world, some students of prophecy search for an allegorical fulfillment of its destruction described in Rev. 18, and of course many see the USA or some city therein as a logical candidate. But remember, even though in Revelation 17:9 John describes “mystery Babylon” as seated on seven hills, a prophecy in Zechariah 5:5-11 shows it being moved “to the plains of Shinar” a reference to ancient Mesopotamia called Iraq today. We can’t switch from literal to allegorical interpretations of Scripture without clear direction, and where Babylon is concerned no such direction exists. In fact the opposite is true. Almost from the beginning, the Bible has been a tale of two cities. Jerusalem is the city of God while Babylon has always been the city of man. Both disappeared from the world stage for many centuries, but when Jerusalem came back it was to its original location. The Bible says the same will be true of Babylon.
Birth Pains … Matt. 24:6-8

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.

When you include places like Korea where a truce is in place but the war isn’t over, there are currently 70 active wars in the world, with 200 other “hot spots” smoldering.
Earthquakes are continuing to run well above normal with major quakes (7.0-7.9 on the richter scale) achieving 140% of their 15 year USGS average during 2010.
But many experts say the big story in the birth pangs area for 2011 could be famine. According to the World Bank, in the last 6 months world wheat and corn prices have risen 57%, rice and sugar are up 45% and 55% respectively and soybeans are at their highest price in 16 months. This is mostly due to shortages caused by crop failures in various places. When prices go up due to shortages the limited supplies go to markets that can pay. Those who can’t are left out. When only luxuries are involved nobody cares, but when it’s basic things like flour and rice, people begin dying. Already 1 out of every 6 people in the world go to bed hungry every night. Experts have said it would only take one or two years of poor crop production to bring a serious famine to the world. Many are concluding that 2010 was a bad year and 2011 won’t be any different.
Climatologists say weather is becoming a more unpredictable factor with average temperatures on a steady decline that could last 30 months or more. This has already begun to effect crop production in northern climates with shorter growing seasons. Further compounding the problem, energy prices are once more on the rise with oil expected to top $100 per barrel again before spring (It’s at $91 now). Energy cost is a factor in everything we buy, including food. All things considered 2011 could well become known as the year the famines began.
The Lord said these birth pangs would be the early warning signs of the approaching End of the Age, so I have included some examples to confirm my belief that we’re very close to our last days on Earth. The consensus from the professionals seems to be that things aren’t going to get better any time soon and could likely get much worse by the end of 2011. That may be true for the world, but we’re told to walk by faith not by sight (2 Cor. 5:7) because our citizenship is in Heaven and we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ (Phil. 3:20). When we see these things begin to take place we’re to stand up and lift up our heads because our redemption is drawing near (Luke 21:28). These promises have never been more true than they will be in 2011.

Who is Jesus Christ?

In a hot debate with a group of hostile religious leaders Jesus said, “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day; and he saw it, and was glad” (John 8:56).
In their rush to react in emotional excitement they weren’t paying attention to what Jesus said so they concluded, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?” (v. 57).
In response to their question Jesus made one of the most profound statements about His deity. “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM” (v. 58).
Who is this man? Is He God? Who is this “I AM”? Who is Jesus Christ?
Make no mistake Jesus was claiming to have existed before the Jewish patriarch Abraham was born. He was claiming an eternal pre-existence—“Before Abraham was born, I am.”
When Jesus used the name “I AM” He was actually using the divine name by which the God of Israel had revealed Himself to Moses at the burning bush (Exodus 3:13-14). God revealed Himself to Moses as “I am who I am.” “I AM” is the name for God that Jesus takes to Himself. With this name for deity He claimed to be Yahweh which is the very word for Jehovah or LORD.
The Jews listening to Jesus immediately recognized His claim to be God. The Jewish leaders knew what Jesus was saying. They clearly understood His speech. Because they were so inferiorities, they picked up stones to kill Him for blasphemy.
This was not the only time Jesus directly or indirectly claimed to be God’s equal.

THE MAKING OF A WORSHIPPER

Exodus 14 describes an incredible moment in Israel’s history. The Israelites had just left Egypt under God’s supernatural direction. Now they were being hotly pursued by Pharaoh’s army. The Israelites had been led into a valley surrounded on both sides by steep mountains, and ahead of them was a forbidding sea. They didn’t know it yet, but these people were about to experience the darkest, stormiest night of their souls. They faced an agonizing night of panic and despair that would test them to their very limits.

I believe this passage has everything to do with how God makes his people into worshippers. Indeed, no other chapter in the Bible demonstrates this more strongly. You see, worshippers are not made during revivals, in the good, sunny times, or periods of victory and health. Worshippers of God are made during dark stormy nights. And how we respond to our storms determines just what kind of worshippers we are.

Hebrews 11 gives us this image of Jacob in his old age: “By faith Jacob, when he was a-dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff” (Hebrews 11:21). Why is Jacob portrayed this way in his dying days?

Jacob knew his life was about to end. That’s why we see him giving his blessing to his grandchildren. So, what does Jacob do as he looks back on the events of his life? He is moved to worship. Not a word is spoken by this man. Yet, as he leaned on his staff, marveling at the life God had given him, “[he] worshipped.”

Jacob worshipped God in that moment because his soul was at rest. He had proven God faithful beyond any shadow of a doubt. And now the patriarch concluded, “It never mattered what battle I went through. God proved himself faithful to me. He has always been faithful. O Lord, almighty God, I worship you!”

She was a good teacher in My younger years, and she was a beacon of faith for My apostles. Give thanks and glory to God that you have such a loving spiritual mother who watches out for all of her children.”

Jesus said: “My people, your winter has just started and you are already seeing high snowfalls in some areas, and floods in California. Even tonight you are having a small amount of freezing rain. Some have had power outages from heavy snow, but you know how devastating ice storms are for power outages. Pray that you do not suffer such a storm this winter. Whenever you see freezing rain, it is a sign to you to check that you have some extra food, alternate fuel for heat, and lamp oil for lights. Having some windup flashlights that work would also be good to have on hand for seeing at night. In some Northern states you have been without power for a few weeks in the past years, so you know how difficult it is to keep warm without electricity. You also may want to test your alternate heaters to make sure that they are in working order. I mentioned these preparations before, but when you have a near miss ice storm, you get a reality check on something that could easily happen.”

Jesus said: “My people, many people are always worrying about what will happen tomorrow, which is why you are looking around the corner in the vision. You can do what is prudent for everyday planning for tomorrow, but you cannot live your life in tomorrow. You can only live today, and the troubles of today are enough for your concern. It is the present where you act out your plans, and even at times you have to change your daily plans because of changed circumstances. Focus on doing everything for My greater glory, instead of seeking glory for your own deeds. Also, do not live in the past either, because you need to have faith in Me to lead you on a better path learning from your mistakes. By living in the present, you will be able to focus all of your energy on your work at hand without worrying about tomorrow or yesterday.”

Jesus said: “My people, I have mentioned before how vulnerable you are if your electricity is cut off. You are also vulnerable to a communications break down as well. You have become so used to making bank transactions over the internet for individuals and for businesses. You also transmit data and voice messages over your phone and cell phone. Depending on the electric source for the phone lines, land lines have their own electric source, but cell phones would not work without electricity. You can realize how everything would come to a halt without such communications. In the spiritual world our lines of communication are always open, even after your death. The only problem could come if a person does not want to talk to Me in any form of prayer. I am always knocking on the door of your heart and soul, and you have to open the door from the inside in order to have a working love relationship with Me. So work with Me on your prayers. You need an open mind, heart, and soul to accomplish your mission on earth. The point of My message on communications is that you have to keep the line open so we can have a two-way conversation. Give thanks to Me for enabling you to do all that you are accomplishing.”

My Blessed Mother always did My Will, and this question of St. Gabriel was her fitting time to give her fiat ‘yes’ to be My mother through the overshadowing by the Holy Spirit. This was the first human step of My redemption of mankind when I became impregnated in My Blessed Mother. This is why My Blessed Mother was an integral part in man’s redemption through My Incarnation as a man to later die for mankind’s sins. You are about to celebrate My birth at Christmas, but many preparations had to occur before this event could take place. Give thanks to Me and to all of those who were a part of My plan of salvation for mankind.”

Jesus said: “My people, your freedoms in America are being lost every day. All of your remaining freedoms will need defending to keep them from being taken away. Even with your change in the Congress, many good laws may not get passed over your President’s veto. You will see increasing regulation coming from the Executive branch that is taking powers away from your Congress and your states. Once your freedoms are taken away as with the North American Union, then My faithful will need to go to My refuges for protection from being killed by the one world people. Enjoy the few freedoms that you have now, because you will see more and more dictatorial power forced on your people. Pray that most of you can get to My refuges before being martyred.”

Our Lady said: “My dear children, my human spouse was St. Joseph and he was a caring man on earth who took care of me and my Son, Jesus. Even though the evangelists did not record his words, they did record his actions which were very loving in taking me into his home. When I accepted being the Mother of my Savior, I knew that I may be subjected to criticism from the society. But St. Joseph listened to the angel and understood God’s plan for Jesus. He also led us to Egypt and back to avoid Herod’s attempt to kill my Son. Pray to St. Joseph because he is a model father of my Holy Family. All fathers should see his concern and care for his family, and model their lives after his love for his family. Despite all of life’s trials, fathers need to be true to their wives in helping them, and the children in their support. Part of America’s moral breakdown comes from the fathers who have left their families in divorce and separation.”

Jesus said: “My people, during the Christmas Season you do a lot of shopping to share gifts on Christmas. You can think of the Magi who brought Me gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh, befitting a king. As you see the gold tabernacle in the vision, you can think of how you bring Me gifts of your prayers and good deeds, but I give you the gift of Myself every time that you receive Me in Holy Communion. In this way we are also sharing gifts with each other, but more in a spiritual way than in material things. Rejoice in this season of Advent as you share your good will with your relatives and friends, in addition to your physical gifts. When you pray with each other, you are asking Me to share in your joy of worshiping Me as the infant in the crib.”

Jesus said: “My people, you are seeing unusually cold and snowy weather, and increasing costs for your fuel in gasoline. There has been an increase in world demand for oil and the value of your dollar has also been dropping. Your government has been spending much more money than it is collecting in taxes, and soon your economy will have to survive without any more stimulus giveaways. As I showed you these trucks, think if they have problems delivering your food and gas to your stores. The drivers are also dealing with higher fuel costs and poor weather. This is another reason to have some extra food and fuel available in case you may face some shortages caused by missed truck deliveries. It is one thing to help poor people with gifts of food, but imagine when many people do not have enough food to eat or fuel for their cars. Many are having hard economic times with fewer jobs or less paying jobs. They do not have many reserves to get through continuing money shortages. Pray that people help each other with their needs, before people get desperate to steal what they need.”

New Israeli Natural Gas Find May Have Prophetic Implications

In a news article today it is being reported that a new found natural gas field found offshore of Israel is the largest natural gas find in the history of Israel. This new natural gas field has the potential to make Israel an exporter of natural gas. This recent discovery could play a role in the future prophetic scenario of Ezekiel 38-39. The Jerusalem Post is reporting:

The natural gas reserves in the Leviathan structure total 16 trillion cubic feet of natural gas, based on preliminary results of the production tests received in the past few days. This was same amount estimated from a recent 3D seismic survey. The quantity found is double the gas reserves at Tamar. The results were reported Wednesday by Noble Energy Inc., which owns 39.66% of the prospect.
According to Noble Energy, "The well encountered a minimum of 220 feet (67 meters) of net natural gas pay in several subsalt Miocene intervals. Apparent reservoir quality is very good, and the intervals discovered are geologically similar to those intersected at Tamar."
Noble Energy CEO Charles Davidson said, "Leviathan is the latest major discovery for Noble Energy and is easily the largest exploration discovery in our history."

The Jerusalem Post article went on to further state:

Noble Energy president and COO David L. Stover added, "This discovery has the potential to position Israel as a natural gas exporting nation. For nearly a year now, we have had a team evaluating market possibilities, which includes various pipeline and LNG options. These recent discoveries of natural gas as well as oil could have prophetic implications in the future for Israel. According to the ancient prophet Ezekiel, there will be an end times invasion of Israel led by Russia and a coalition of Islamic countries that are coming after a "spoil". Bible prophecy teachers and students have long wondered what the "spoil" might be as Israel does not have an extensive amount of wealth outside of the Dead Sea mineral deposits. While Israel's high tech industries are lucrative and successful, she is still not really an attractive target yet for this future Russian coalition. However, when adding the prospects of oil and natural gas finds to the equation especially in light of the religious significance of Israel, suddenly we have a situation that provides Israel as a lucrative target for a Russia invasion. Especially since Russia is a leading natural gas supplier and has been using energy resources as a political weapon against the European Union.
For Israel's allies and friends, the recent natural gas discoveries provide a more stable and attractive market in which to buy natural gas. Israel is a more dependable and friendlier country as opposed to Russia. For Russia's part, they will be very interested in the effect of Israel's influence and ability to market natural gas thereby depriving them of essential income that is hard to find in Russia. This Israeli natural gas find could be the kind of thing that provides the "spoil" for the Ezekiel 38-39 scenario. The prophet Ezekiel warns in these chapters that Gog and Russia will be aiming for the "spoil" in the following verses:

Eze 38:3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: Eze 38:4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts [of armour, even] a great company [with] bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: Eze 38:5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: Eze 38:6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: [and] many people with thee. Eze 38:7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them. Eze 38:8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land [that is] brought back from the sword, [and is] gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. Eze 38:9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee. Eze 38:10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, [that] at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought: Eze 38:11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, Eze 38:12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places [that are now] inhabited, and upon the people [that are] gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land. Eze 38:13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?

As we can see in these verses and from the rest of Ezekiel 38-39, the Russian led invasion will center around a wealthy and prosperous Israeli state. Since the re-birth of the state of Israel in 1948, Israel has slowly but surely improved itself economically despite it's small size. The country has survived numerous Islamic attempts to wipe it off the map, yet still remains just as God has foretold. The interesting thing is that for the first time Israel has the opportunity with the discovery of oil and natural gas offshore to break the ceiling and become a mighty financial state. This coupled with the breakdown of peace talks with the Palestinians and international community may finally convince the Russians and surrounding Islamic countries to finally make a move on Israel militarily as Ezekiel foretold thousands of years ago.
As a result, we need to continue to watch the Middle East region as it appears that every day we are moving closer and closer to the prophecies as foretold by the Bible. We also can see that as this occurs, we are also moving even faster towards the rapture of the church which can literally happen at any moment when God sends his Son to gather his church. Let us continue to pray for Israel as well as pray for the peace of Jerusalem. The coming days are surely to be eventful as we move closer and closer to the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Hopi & Other Indian Prophecies

“The Hopi Indians, which means good, peaceful, or wise, come from a group of Southwestern people called Pueblo, but their language is different. They live in northeast Arizona at the southern end of the Black Mesa. A mesa is the name given to a small isolated flat-topped hill with three steep sides called the 1st Mesa, 2nd Mesa, and the 3rd Mesa. On the mesa tops are the Hopi villages called pueblos. The pueblo of Oraibi on the 3rd Mesa started in 1050, and is the oldest in North America that was lived in continuously. They live in pueblos that are made of stone and mud and stand several stories high.

The Kivas are an underground chamber in the pueblo home that they used to talk and have religious ceremonies in. They used the kivas for 100 years. The center of the floor had a fire pit. You had to climb down a ladder to get to the south end where a bench was placed for spectators. At the north end was a small hole in the floor as a reminder of sipapu.” (Source)

The white man will battle against other people in other lands — with those who possessed the first light of wisdom. There will be many columns of smoke and fire such as White Feather has seen the white man make in the deserts not far from here. Only those which come will cause disease and a great dying.

Overall, the theme of Hopi prophecy is that the Earth is going to soon go through a great purification and that humanity can make the decision as to how extreme this purification will be. “When Deganawidah was leaving the Indians in the Bay of Quinte in Ontario, he told the Indian people that they would face a time of great suffering. They would distrust their leaders and the principles of peace of the League, and a great white serpent was to come upon the Iroquois, and that for a time it would intermingle with the Indian serpent as a friend.

This serpent would in time become so powerful that it would attempt to destroy the Indian, and the serpent is described as choking the life’s blood out of the Indian people. Deganawidah told the Indians that they would be in such a terrible state at this point that all hope would seem to be lost, and he told them that when things looked their darkest a red serpent would come from the north and approach the white serpent, which would be terrified, and upon seeing the red serpent he would release the Indian, who would fall to the ground almost like a helpless child, and the white serpent would turn all its attention to the red serpent. The bewilderment would cause the white serpent to accept the red one momentarily…

The white serpent would be stunned and take part of the red serpent and accept him. Then there is a heated argument and a fight. And then the Indian revives and crawls toward the land of the hilly country, and then he would assemble his people together, and they would renew their faith and the principles of peace that Deganawidah had established. My Vision of the Indians:

I saw that the Indians had grown extremely angry with America’s leadership and blamed them for poisoning their people with alcohol, gambling and other vices. I saw the Russians and Chinese meeting secretly with some of the Indian Tribes and provide them with the most modern and advanced weaponry. I saw the Indians waging war and destroying many white Americans. Once their work of death was completed and their vengeance exacted, I saw them have a mighty change of heart and accept a new Spiritual Leader and the purest form of Christianity.

Many were sorry for their murders and swore to never raise the sword again. These buried their weapons of war. I saw that they gathered to the center of the land to hear the words of someone they called the “Great Teacher”, who taught them the truth about Jesus Christ.

I saw them build a great city that was beautiful beyond description, and there teach the true principals of science, agriculture, and the elements. They were extremely gifted in the knowledge of all things physical and helped transform this entire earth into a Garden of Eden.

I learned that the Indian Race were the true stewards of this earth and that if the earth were to be restored to its previous unblemished state, it would be through them.

Predictions For 2011

My Crystal Ball

Now is the time to dust off the crystal ball and test any scrying skills to decipher what will be ahead in 2011. I present some predictions for 2011, and a review of my successes and failures from my January 9, 2010 musings.

1. Iran

I predicted a military strike against Iran in late 2010 to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. That clearly did not happen.

However, in 2010 something else occurred. Espionage and sabotage against Iran. Someone created the sophisticated Stuxnet computer worm to damage the Iranian nuclear effort. Iranian nuclear scientists were assassinated or wounded with car bombs. Who knows what else happened we don’t know about?

Someone is using the craft of spies instead of the military to slow down the Iranian nuclear effort. How long will that delay the inevitable? I continue with my prediction of a military strike against Iran, but in 2011. Among the Wikileaks revelations was Saudi King Abdullah exhorting the U.S. to attack Iran and end its nuclear program. He said, “Cut off the head of the snake.” In 2011? Very likely.

2. The Economy.

At the beginning of 2010 I predicted the Dow Jones Industrial Average would reach near 12,000 by the end of the year. And so it has! At the end of 2010 the DOW is over 11,600. A year ago the world economy was very shaky and many were pessimistic about a double dip recession and feared the stock market would again implode. However, so far so good.

What about 2011? I will go out on a limb and predict the DOW will reach near 14,000. Ok, more likely 13,500. This is may seem wildly optimistic. The U.S. economy will continue to seriously struggle. Americans are in for a continued decline in our standard of living.

Yet the U.S. stock market does not necessarily follow what the American economy is doing. Companies are making good earnings even with high unemployment. Fewer employees mean more money in corporate pockets. We are in a global economy. Good for investors, bad for regular folk.

3. A possible wildcard…the collapse of the dollar. Buy Silver!

Silver Coins

I don’t see this actually happening in 2011, unless our politicians are really stupid. It could still clearly happen. At some point the world will realize all this printed money is just that…paper money with little intrinsic value. As a hedge I’d buy silver coins. In 2009 silver averaged $14.50 an ounce.

As I write this blog silver is over $30 an ounce, an increase of over 100% from a year ago! Few can afford gold, but we can all invest in some silver, it is still affordable. An ounce here and there. Don‘t buy collector coins, stick with the low-grade bullion quality.

It seems a trivial thing, but it might be wise to buy a few ounces of silver coins every month. It won’t cost much, and even if silver prices collapse, so what? However, if the hammer drops and the dollar collapses, those silver coins could be worth…the sky is the limit. Save those copper pennies too! 4. Moon Earthqukes

The full and new moon will continue to coincide with powerful earthquakes. It happened regularly in 2010, I foresee the same ahead for 2011. Three Days Of Darkness, A Mayan Story As Told by Ms. Juana Cowo

“My Granny was scolding we children when we was very young… she told us we knew nothing of the challenge of the darkness. She said when she was very young, she and all the people woke up to no sun. She said she was so frightened for it was very dark without the sun and also too cold. She told me and my brothers and my sisters and my cousins that we take too much for granted, that we take for granted the sunshine and the moonshine, but that we would never do this again when we had lived through the three days of darkness.
Granny said that the elders knew right away what to do in this time of no sun and no light. That this time had always been prophesied by the elders and had happened many, many times before. The wise people always prepared for this darkness by saving the old tortillas (corn tortilla chips). And so the elders began to build the fires, for the fires must be lit or the darkness can drive some to madness. And the people began to pray together and sing together and burn the tortillas together for this is the sacred food that the Gods desire. Granny says that the smoke of the tortilla carries the message to the Gods to please bring back the sun.

My Granny said that when the people become too wicked, when we forget to worship the Gods and have respect for all life, that the Gods block out the sun to remind us of the sacred ways and the importance of worship and of gratitude for life. She said that for three long days, the villagers prayed and prayed and prayed together and to cease their hunger, they not only burnt the tortilla but also ate it. She said that the h’men (the shamans) would begin to get excited and happy as they felt their prayers being received and then the darkness would lift. She said in her time it took three long days but that she had heard stories of the darkness taking longer to leave. She said the Gods only return the light when enough people were praying in earnest.

My Granny said the darkness would come again because it always comes, because the people always stray far from their Creator and must be reminded time and time and time again… My Granny told us to behave well with good intentions. She told us this story to keep alive the memories and the knowledge of what to expect and of what to do. And so right now I save my old tortillas and I gather my firewood and I prepare my children and grandchildren with the stories because my body tells me that the time is almost here.

Daily I hear of stories of the crime in my country, the violence, the murder, brother against brother. I hear stories of war and violence and hunger in our world and I know the time has come for the Gods to humble us people once again. I go to church each week to worship my Gods and the church sits empty. All the people are not at church but everyday they have money for the bars, for the drink. This is bad medicine. And so I know the darkness must come and I can only pray that enough people will pray through that darkness that it may be over in three days or less. This is my prayer, let the people remember their Creator and humble themselves to live in peace once again.

Afterthoughts: My Granny also said that before the event occurs, one or a few of the villagers will dream the event and that even though the darkness is overwhelming, it is also beautiful. She says all the forest animals come to sit with the people, none are hunting each other down, they are simply sitting, bidding their time in the darkness with the humans. She says to witness everyone in prayer is a moment of magic and grace and beauty.”

Ms. Juana Cowo is a Mopan Maya of Belize. She was my midwife for the birth of my fifth child. She is my family herbalist through sickness. She is a bone setter. She has grown up in the Maya village of San Pedro de Columbia in Belize on tribunal land but now resides on the island of Caye Caulker where she works as a massage therapist at my Spa and the village midwife for those few women who choose this method. She is a very special, simple and pure woman and the above story is a true story as told to her from her long departed grandmother. I believe this is a story told to children so that they will grow up to behave with integrity. I understand this to be an oral story passed from one generation to another. Ms. Juana does believe that this truly happened to her grandmother.

Recently two urgent messages have been released from the indigenous elders. One was from Little Grandmother, Keisha Crowther saying to all lightworkers to “wear a quartz crystal”. She gave no explanation as to why, she only stressed that it is of utmost importance. A second urgent message came from Golden Light Eagle saying that we must prepare ourselves now. “Things will be difficult in the very near future, but we can do something about it…start drying foods and saving water and so on. We should not wait for anyone. Don’t wait for anyone. He also said that the Spirit mentioned ‘the darkness’ is a place of ceremony for them, a place of healing. We are to stay in Love & Compassion.”

And as I complete this article a third urgent message comes to my mind. The Maya High Council said to watch for the missing magnetosphere. MAINTAINING A PRAYER LIFE

I must maintain a life of prayer in order to overcome spiritual dryness. Why is it that none of us pray as we should? We know that our burdens can all be lifted when we are shut in with him. The voice of the Holy Spirit keeps calling us to prayer, “Come!”

Come to the water that satisfies that soul thirst. Come to the Father, who pities his children. Come to the Lord of life, who promises to forgive every sin committed. Come to the One who refuses to condemn you or forsake you or hide from you.

We may try to hide from God because of guilt and condemnation but he never hides from us. Come boldly to his throne of grace, even when you have sinned and failed. He instantly forgives those who repent with godly sorrow. You don’t have to spend hours and days in remorse and guilt or earn your way back into his good graces. Go to the Father, bend your knees, open your heart, and cry out your agony and pain. Tell him about your loneliness, feelings of isolation, fears, and failures.

We try everything except prayer. We read books, looking for formulas and guidelines. We go to friends, ministers, and counselors, looking everywhere for a word of comfort or advice. We seek mediators and forget the one Mediator who has the answer to everything.

Nothing dispels dryness and emptiness more quickly than an hour or two shut in with God. Nothing can take the place of praying to the Father in that secluded secret closet. That is the solution to every dry spell.

“For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring” (Isaiah 44:3).

The Wars of 2011

On Sunday thousands of Israel haters gathered in Istanbul to welcome the Turkish-Hamas terror ship Mavi Marmara to the harbor. Festooned with Palestinian flags, the crowd chanted "Death to Israel," "Down with Israel" and "Allah akbar" with Hizbullah-like enthusiasm.
The Turkish protesters promised to stand on the side of Hamas when it next goes to war with Israel. They may not have to wait long to keep their promise. Over the past two weeks Hamas has steeply escalated its missile war, launching over 30 missiles at Israel. Last week, a missile that narrowly missed a nursery school wounded a young girl.
Since Operation Cast Lead two years ago, Iran has helped Hamas massively increase its missile and other military capabilities. Today the terror group that rules Gaza has missiles capable of reaching Tel Aviv. It has advanced antitank missiles. As Hamas spokesman Abu Obeida said Saturday, "We are now stronger than before and during the war, and our silence over the past two years was only for evaluating the situation."
That evaluation has not tempered Hamas's aim of annihilating the Jews of Israel. As Obeida's colleague Ahmed Jaabari said Saturday, Israel's Jews have two choices, "death or departing Palestinian lands."
IDF commanders are taking Hamas's new brinksmanship seriously. In recent days several have said that Israel's deterrence has eroded. Another Cast Lead is just a matter of time, they warn.
In the meantime, Fatah - Hamas's sometime rival and sometime brother - is preparing its next round of political warfare with its many friends around the world. Despite some recent tactical repositioning, its goal is clearly to proceed with its plan to declare statehood with maximum international support within the next nine to 12 months.
To this end, Fatah and its allies are operating on multiple fronts. On November 24 the UN General Assembly passed a resolution to hold a Durban III conference on September 21. The first conference, held in Durban, South Africa in September 2001, is mainly remembered as a diplomatic pogrom against Israel and Jews which complemented the shooting war in Israel.
As Jews were being butchered in pizzerias in Jerusalem, Jew-haters gathered to deny that Jews have human rights. They used the UN's anti-racism banner to assert that it is not racist to kill and incite the murder of Jews. Jews were singled out and condemned as the only nation in the world whose national liberation movement - Zionism - is racist.
But even more important than its service in glorifying suicide bombers and their political commissars just three days before the September 11 jihadist assault on the US, the Durban conference was the place where the blueprint for the political war against Israel was authored. At the NGO conference which took place as an adjunct to the governmental conference, self-proclaimed "human rights" groups from around the world agreed that their job was to criminalize the Jewish state to isolate it politically, diplomatically and economically.
As key organizers put it, the "activists'" job was to conduct a nonviolent jihad to complement the work of the "resistance fighters" massacring children and parents in Israel.
The Durban II conference last year in Geneva was supposed to reinvigorate the political war that was launched in 2001. But it was a bust. The only head of state to address the proceedings was Iranian dictator Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He used the occasion to again call for the eradication of the Jewish state.
To prevent another flop, last month the Palestinians and their supporters agreed that the 10th anniversary conference will be held in New York during the opening of UN General Assembly. Their goal is to piggyback on that conference to get heads of state that are in New York already to join in their anti-Israel political war.
And they have every reason for optimism. Although Canada and Israel have announced their plans to boycott the conference, the Obama administration has been noticeably unwilling to distance itself from it.
Given the swank locale of Durban III, the Palestinians and their friends trust they will enjoy a reprise of the virulently anti-Jewish NGO conference of a decade ago. The resolution clearly advocates such an outcome in its call for "civil society, including NGOs to organize and support" the conference "with high visibility."
For Fatah leaders like the Palestinian Authority's unelected president Mahmoud Abbas and its unelected prime minister Salam Fayyad, the Durban III conference will be the culmination of their current campaign to delegitimize Israel.
Last week the PA announced it will ask the UN Security Council to pass an anti- Semitic resolution defining Jewish building in Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem as illegal. This move dovetails nicely with Abbas's statement over the weekend that "Palestine" will be Jew-free. As he put it, "If there is an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, we won't agree to the presence of one Israeli in it. When a Palestinian state is established, it would have no Israeli presence."
To date neither of these racist bids to deny Jews basic rights to their homes and land just because they are Jews has been opposed by any government or human rights group. And if the Obama administration allows the PA's anti-Semitic resolution to go forward in the Security Council, the move would be a massive victory for the political war against Israel.
That war has already won some other significant victories of late. The decision by five South American governments to recognize "Palestine" along the 1949 armistice lines, like the decision by a number of European states - following the US - to upgrade the PLO's diplomatic status are tactical gains.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton signaled this month that the Obama administration is wholly on board Fatah's political warfare bandwagon. In her speech at the Brookings Institute on December 10, she said the Obama administration supports Fatah's plan to build facts on the ground that will make it more difficult for Israel to maintain its control over Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem.
After calling Jewish presence in the areas "illegitimate," Clinton pledged the US "will deepen our support of the Palestinians' state-building efforts."
Among other things, she pledged to continue training and deploying a Palestinian army in Judea and Samaria and pressuring Israel to withdraw the IDF from the areas.
As she put it, "As the Palestinian security forces continue to become more professional and capable, we look to Israel to facilitate their efforts. And we hope to see a significant curtailment of incursions by Israeli troops into Palestinian areas."
These then are the contours of the Palestinians' war plans for 2011. Hamas will launch an illegal missile war to provoke an IDF campaign in Gaza. Iran, Syria, Hizbullah, Turkey, the UN and a vast array of NGOs and leftist governments from Norway to Brazil will support its illegal war.
Fatah will escalate its political war. Its campaign will be supported by the US, the EU, the UN and a vast array of NGOs and leftist governments.
The purpose of these two campaigns - which complement one another and which will likely culminate at the UN in September - is to weaken Israel militarily and politically with the shared purpose of destroying it in the fullness of time.
So what must Israel do? In the first instance, it must decide that its goal is not merely to weather this storm, but to win both of these wars.
In recent days we have been witness to a mildly entertaining fight between Defense Minister Ehud Barak and former prime minister Ehud Olmert. Olmert accused Barak of purposely failing to defeat Hamas during Operation Cast Lead. Barak, Olmert alleged, "did everything he could to defend Hamas and to prevent its downfall in the Gaza Strip."
Barak responded to Olmert's broadside by accusing the leader who failed to defeat Hizbullah in the 2006 war of "phony Churcillianism."
Ironically, of course, both are right. Both of them led Israel in war with extreme incompetence. Both refused to put together strategies for victory.
Now as the country contemplates a reprise of Cast Lead, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu must ensure that when the IDF acts, it acts decisively and emerges victorious. If this means firing Barak, then he must be fired.
The same is true in the political realm. The Palestinian offensive must be met by a counteroffensive that is informed by a strategy for victory. Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman demonstrated the starting point on Sunday when he told Israel's ambassadors that peace with the Palestinians is impossible. But this is not enough.
Any strategy for victory in political warfare must begin with a clear recognition of reality. Peace is impossible because like Hamas, Fatah is the enemy. Its leaders and rank and file reject our right to exist. They are building a state that will be at war with us. They are avidly working to delegitimize us with the intention of destroying us together with their brothers in Hamas - whom they finance with US and other foreign aid.
A political war against Fatah would involve actively discrediting its members and leaders. Today Fatah is running a campaign libeling IDF soldiers and commanders as war criminals. Israel must file valid war crimes complaints against Fatah terrorists and political leaders in the international and foreign judicial bodies.
Fatah uses the UN to delegitimize us. Our delegations at all UN bodies must daily submit resolutions calling for the condemnation of the Palestinians for their efforts to criminalize us and carry out war crimes against us.
Israel must also rally its allies to its side. We must ask our friends in the US Congress to defund the Palestinian Authority and UNRWA. The PA is a terroristic and criminal syndicate that uses US taxpayer dollars to finance terrorism and pad the pockets of terror masters and apparatchiks. UNRWA, which is supposed to be a welfare organization, openly acknowledges that it employs terrorists, allows its schools and camps to be used as jihad indoctrination centers, training camps and missile launching pads. The Congressional Research Service has stated that it is impossible to claim that US funds to UNRWA do not at least indirectly finance terror groups.
At home the government must stop all tax transfers to the PA. It must prohibit the deployment of the US-trained Palestinian army in Judea and Samaria. It must rebuff US pressure to curtail IDF counterterror operations in Judea and Samaria.
The government must outlaw all organizations assisting the Palestinians in their military and political warfare operations. It should support class action lawsuits against the PA by terror victims in local courts. It should withhold diplomatic visas to representatives of countries like Britain where Israeli politicians and military personnel are barred from travelling due to Palestinian lawfare operations.
The government should implement Netanyahu's open airwaves plan and encourage the launch of a private all news network along the Fox News model.
The Palestinians clearly see the coming year as a decisive year in their war to destroy Israel. The Netanyahu government needs to muster its forces to battle. These are battles we can win. But to do so, we must commit ourselves to victory.

Marija Pavlovic Lunetti, who said that as a teenager she saw the Virgin Mary in Bosnia-Herzegovina and as an adult saw her in Sterrett, will come again to the small Shelby County town for a prayer celebration from Dec. 8 through Dec. 14. The event, dubbed the "Seven Days of Prayer," will occur at Caritas of Birmingham, a small farming community that has been accused in recent years of being a cult. Lunetti's last visit to Caritas in 1999 drew a crowd of between 20,000 to 30,000.

ASSANGE LASHES OUT, PROMISES ISRAEL “LEAK”…IN 6 MONTHS

“We know what has been released. The genuinely sensitive material held by Wikileaks, that tying Israel to actions against America in Iraq, tying Israel to the drug trade in Afghanistan and tying Israel to terrorism in Pakistan, have yet to be seen. Will Assange be releasing these reports in 6 months? Why wait that long?”

Two Bedouins walk up to an Army checkpoint outside of Kirkuk. They ask for cigarettes. They are dirty, you can smell them 10 feet away. A young NCO eyes them carefully, fingering the safety on his M-4 carbine and responds. “You can have a pack but first you have to give us information.”

The Bedouins look at each other and smile.
“We just saw two, no ten Iranians swimming the Euphrates River. It looked like they had guns, no I think it was bombs, no, a big bomb, a dirty bomb I think I heard them say. They kept saying they were meeting their friends from Pakistan, no, I think it was Al Qaeda, no, now that I think of it, it was Al Qaeda from Pakistan, maybe bin Laden himself, yeah, that’s the ticket. They were taking nuclear weapons and meeting Usama bin Laden.”

The corporal, listening intently with a touch of skepticism looks the taller of the two in the eye and asks, “Where, exactly were they carrying these bombs again?”

The two Bedouins look at each other again, a smile spreads across their faces as they turn to the young soldier, “They had the bombs in their underwear, of course, where to you think terrorists keep such things?”

Another Wikileak is born…….

Julian Assange has lashed out at the independent press for their attacks on the credibility of Wikileaks, particularly after revelations of his associations with, not only the New York Times and the powerful Murdoch media empire, both strong voices for Israel’s Zionist movement, but the Rothschilds family and even, strange as it may seem, billionaire George Soros.

While the mainstream media, now openly admitting their partnership with Wikileaks, has built Assange to “rock star” status, their reporting has systematically censored attacks on Wikileaks by, not only alternative media but governments as well.

Assange’s recent rages at the independent media are a clear indication of the declining status of mainstream press and television as reliable new sources. With 4 out of 5 seeking their news from the Internet and those looking for something other than sports, fashion and gossip, more likely than not moving increasingly toward the alternative press, Wikileaks, now practically a “brand name” for the New York Times and Fox/Murdoch group, is beginning to look, more and more, like a liability.

These attacks on Assange, citing his seeming pro-Israel bias, one he now openly admits also, soon began coming in from governments, Pakistan and Turkey, major allies of the United States, among others. However, the press never reported them or any of the other accusations of bias. While busily reporting on Assange’s sex life, a version now contradicted as to nature and preferences, the media left out the real heart of the Wikileaks controversy itself, its own role in Wikileaks.

If anything, the New York Times is guilty, not so much of espionage as reported by CBS News, but for misrepresenting their role in Wikileaks.

FILTERING THE UNFILTERED, THE PROPAGANDIZING OF WIKILEAKS
When Assange admitted that materials damaging to Israel were allowed to be removed from Wikileaks by outsiders, The New York Times and unnamed others, he failed to clarify the process used for adding material to Wikileaks. This process is called “seeding.”
When Brzezinski accused Assange of “seeding” Wikileaks with “pointed material” on behalf of an “intelligence agency,” this is the process he was referring to. It isn’t just that Wikileaks protects Israel but that material damaging to Israel’s enemies is now proven to have been chosen specifically.

This won’t be said enough times. When material was added and taken away to serve the purpose of powerful outside groups, in this case, all with powerful Israeli ties, it made Wikileaks an agent of censorship, an agent of propaganda and totally discredited the Wikileaks project.
Dr. Alan Sabrosky cites the following after his analysis of Wikileak material;

“The one striking exception in all of this global tour de farce is the Middle East. Certainly, even aside from Wikileaks founder Julian Assange’s fulsome praise of Binyamin Netanyahu, what is said and what is not, represent the message Israel and its partisans in the US Government (itself heavily Zionist and “Israel First” in orientation) want the world to hear, believe and accept. The message coming across in the US diplomatic cables could have been designed and drafted by Avigdor Lieberman, and who knows? It may have been…
No one knows how many groups were given censorship power by Assange or why or what materials were removed, and how embarrassing they would be to Israel. Were there materials on the attack on the Freedom Flotilla or the Goldstone Report? Were there reports on Mordecai Vanunu and Israel’s nuclear program? Did Wikileaks suppress information on how Israel and India have armed Taliban terrorists for attacks inside Pakistan or, far more serious, reports that Israeli sniper teams and other groups, targeting American troops, did so in an attempt to blame Iran and push the United States to war with that nation. Are there reports of Israeli agents planning attacks on US forces in Bahrain in 2007, attacks meant to be blamed on Shiite terrorists allied to Iran? We are told there are and that these reports were removed and withheld.

WHAT WE GOT INSTEAD…
Instead of these reports, the public got these carefully selected and unsubstantiated items:

1. 10th June 2006: Al Qaida in Iraq insurgents plan to attack a forward operating base in Karmah with chemical weapons…The insurgents plan to deploy their chemical weapon using mortars as a delivery system. (Analyst Comments: In Iraq AQI has tried several times to employ chemical weapons against coalition forces).

2. 16th August 2008: CBRN personnel has tested the rounds twice with M8 paper and J CAM. EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), and chemical recon element assess that the chemical … tested positive for chemical agent. EOD reports 12 x full chemical rounds. 14 x damaged rounds are either leaking or empty. The cache consisted of 26 contaminated rounds and 14 empty 155mm rounds.

3. 13th October 2005: As of late September 2005, Al-Qa’ida in Iraq elements allegedly planned to attack Abu Ghurayb prison in early to mid-October using an unspecified number of mortars and car bombs…. AQIZ elements allegedly planned to use 20 “chemical munitions” brought from Syria.

4. 28th January 2006: The ten are chemical weapons specialists and came to Iraq to support the chemical weapons operations of Hizballah Islam I. (Field comment — The chemical operations of Hizballah Islam I were previously reported as Al Qa’ida Iraq operations, the ten unidentified men are chemical weapons specialists from Syria)…The ten unidentified men were taken to Is’Hagey Iraq, where the unidentified chemicals weapons … are stored. The chemical weapons were brought from Syria to Iraq on 21 January 2006.

5. 29th December 2006: As of 27 December 2006, three unidentified Bedouins who were alleged Iraq AQI Operatives planned to transport chemical munitions from Al Judayda, Saudi Arabia, to Nugra Al Salman District, a border area in Al Muthanna Province, Iraq …Subsequently, Iraq AQI operatives planned use the munitions to attack hospitals, outdoor markets, and US military forces in Al Basrah, Al Amarah and An Nasiriyah on or after 15 January 2007.

6. 5th March 2007: AQI insurgency group is planning a rocket attack on several targets in the Baghdad International Zone and a US base in Al Rashdiyah by using Katusha rockets filled with unknown chemicals… these rockets were described as being three meters long and are modified in order to carry the extra weight. (Field Comment – the source was unable to provide the type of chemical and stated that these rockets probably originated from Iran).

7. 20th September 2007: As of late September 2007, Islamic State of Iraq (ISI) militants in Mosul, Iraq were planning an imminent attack on Tall ‘Afar using rockets with Chlorine gas or another chemical compound … The rockets had a range of more than 20 Kilometers, and an impact radius of 50 to 100 square meters. (Comment: the Arabic word “Sarukh” was used to describe the rockets).

Upon closer examination, each of these reports was shown to be worthless, discarded or downgraded by the US government as “chickenfeed.” The proposed attacks all never happened, the weapons spoken of were never found or used, in fact, the Iraq War Logs were a litany of failure. However, when the press, now shown to have selected the “leaks” in the first place, wrote about their own work, what was “chickenfeed” was spun into powerful accusations, all false, fanciful and reprehensible.

We know what has been released. The genuinely sensitive material held by Wikileaks, that tying Israel to actions against America in Iraq, tying Israel to the drug trade in Afghanistan and tying Israel to terrorism in Pakistan, have yet to be seen. Will Assange be releasing these reports in 6 months? Why wait that long?

PRO-WAR, ANTI-WAR, WILL THE REAL WIKILEAKS PLEASE STAND UP
Assange is pro-war, Assange is a strong “neocon” supporter, Assange has supported Bush administration policies in every way from the mishandling of the 9/11 investigation to the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. In fact, Assange was totally pro-American until the Obama administration began pushing for an end to the forced removal of Palestinians by Israel.

Lila Rajiva, writing for Veterans Today, cited Stewart Bramhill:
So what is the corporate media trying to conceal by beating Assange’s sex life to death?

Most of the information in the recent cables release is already widely available on the Internet.

At the same time I find it surprising to find absolutely nothing about the “strategic” reasons the US is at war in Pakistan and Afghanistan.Nothing about the Pentagon agenda to foster the secession of oil and mineral rich Balochistan from Pakistan as a US client state – just like Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and other former Soviet republics. Nothing about CIA support for the Baloch separatist movement. Nothing about the CIA training young Baloch separatists in bomb making and other terrorist activities to disrupt operations at the Chinese-built Gwadar Port (intended to transport Iranian oil and natural gas via Pakistan to China).

The latest Wikileak has been out a for a month, actually much longer if you are the New York Times or the government of Israel. They had it all from day one. With the US government threatening Julian Assange with prosecution for holding and releasing illegally obtained classified material, why aren’t they going after the real Wikileaks, the New York Times? It only took Zbigniew Brzezinski, Washington’s “establishment” foreign policy expert, a “New York minute” to spot Wikileaks as an intelligence operation, when he informed PBS interviewer Judy Woodruff of this on December 2.

This story wasn’t new. The worst part is that the story was well documented from the first, long ago, but suppressed in the press, now long proven totally complicit, not in choosing what Wikileaks stories to print, but in choosing what Wikileaks intelligence was released to the public. This is what it all comes down to.

WIKILEAKS IS A “PRESS RELEASE,” AND HARDLY A “LEAK” AT ALL
Julian Assange, for some unknown reason, placed full authority for what the public could and couldn’t be trusted with in the hands of the New York Times. Wasn’t Wikileaks set up to attack the press in the first place? Wasn’t it Wikileaks that was telling us, from day one, that the governments were controlling the press, censoring the news and supporting wars?

The whole purpose of Wikileaks was to eliminate and bypass the cabal of corrupt government and controlled press, to empower citizens with real information that was withheld. Instead, Wikileaks became just another government controlled newspaper, and Julian Assange got his daily press conferences, his staged photo shoots and his endless fame, all while covering his complicity in censorship and his relationships with the world’s most powerful and often reviled forces, all advocates of war.

With all the hoopla about opposing war, the majority of Wikileaks documents, certainly the most “pointed” and “seeded” of them, as Brzezinski tells us, are all in support of the wars Julian Assange said he opposed. Other than minor reports outlining the idiocy of the people who wrote the reports, cables or whatever we want to call them, other than proving American diplomats and intelligence officers are typically dupes and clowns, something a decade of war and lies has proven to the world long ago, what, exactly, has Wikileaks done?
Dr. Alan Sabrosky sums it up far better than I could ever do;

But nothing like that is there, or at least has yet surfaced, which makes me increasingly inclined to see this as just another game of rhetorical smoke and mirrors, with a lot of real cables and real victims (like the poor US soldier who presumably gave Assange at least some of the cables), but with many or most of the Middle East cables “cooked” if not fabricated outright.

So these, at least, are probably the handiwork of Israeli-Americans or just Israelis putting their own spin on things, included in a mass of otherwise legitimate cables as camouflage and for validation. Djojobojo – The Nostradamus of Indonesia

Friends,
I am working around the clock now to get Predictions for 2011 online, hopefully around the original holiday that was stolen by St. Nick of Christmas, the Yule Tide turning when the Sun ceases to wane and begins it waxing. I am excited by this book and eager to get it out for you to see on the Winter Solstice, if at all possible. Gee, that is just two Winter Solstices away from the big Twenty-Twelver. Oiy!

Giving birth to this book is the main reason why you have not seen a blog in seven days. I was glad to receive many letters this week coming from those of you who have browsed through my many posted articles, especially a wave of readers chiming in from India. I am happy to hear from my South Asian readers and hope to get more letters from you and comments. My Indian browsers make up one third of my readership. Because of this, Predictions for 2011, will comment extensively on India’s future, as 2011 is the great “coming out” year for India as a world power.

I raise my eyes up from my labors and look over my shoulder at two developing current events with some concern. It would seem that the new START (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty) is stuck in the muddy minds of bureaucratic resistance. I cannot tell you (though if you read me over the years you know) how important it is for our continued existence that we see nourished a US-Russian friendship and nuclear disarmament.

Ever since I gathered the collective prophecies of many traditions in TheMillennium Book of Prophecy and 1000 for 2000: Startling Predictions, a recurrent theme has a Third World War coming “after” the Cold War is over, not before. It comes all of a sudden at a time when no one expected it; either three years and seven months or 13 years after Russia and America break off being friends over a Middle Eastern crisis (such as Iran). Signing the START treaty is an important step towards taking the whole world off that future apocalyptic track.

There are forces in Washington DC working to delay its ratification for the sake of sustaining the Military Industrial Complex. I have written at length about this issue in Predictions for 2011 coming out next week.

The other developing story causing me some prescient concern is an oncoming military crisis between North and South Korea. I have written a lot about it in Predictions for 2011 and on a level of one to ten, I feel a level “four” concern that between now and Tuesday there might be a further escalation leading to military conflict. I suppose we can take some solace in my “oracle” not putting the prescient alarm level at five or higher, yet I am a little concerned. I will keep you all posted on both of these issues when I can send my next blog.

Speaking of blogs…

As the Monty Pythons would say, “And now for something completely different: a Nostradamus from ancient Indonesia.”

The 12th-century Indonesian king Djojobojo (also known as Jayabhaya of Java) had a vision of the coming of a great “Spiritual King” or Ratu Adil (Just Ruler) from the West in the prophecy called Jangka Jayabhaya. This would take place after three milestones are fulfilled in the history of the Indonesian people.

First, “white-skinned, blue-eyed, and fair-haired men from the northwest” would invade Indonesia.

It must be remembered that Caucasian explorers had perhaps never explored Indonesia when this prophecy was made. Marco Polo, the trader and explorer venturing east upon the continental trade routes of the Silk Road to China from the Republic of Venice came through a century after Djojobojo’s vision. Yet, the East Javan Hindu ruler augured a multitude of white skinned blue-eyed men coming to rule with an “iron hand for 350 years.”

It happened five centuries later when the fair haired, blue-eyed Dutch did conquer Indonesia invading from the Northwest. They ruled for 322 years, from 1610 to 1942.

Next Djojobojo presaged these white men overcome by new invaders he called little “slant-eyed, yellow dwarflike men.” These would sail down to occupy Indonesia from the Northeast.

In early 1942, naval and army forces of the Empire of Japan invaded the Indonesian archipelago exactly from the direction foreseen 800 years before, in an armada coming out of the northeast depositing an occupying army that overwhelmed the sparse Dutch forces guarding the Dutch East Indies.

Djojobojo then said these little yellow men would only rule for a short time: “one planting of corn.” This seems to refer to the relatively brief three-year occupation of the Japanese, though time is cut short in prophetic hyperbole.

Finally, Djojobojo promised the people of Indonesia would unite under the wise governance of a messianic king or just ruler, but freedom and spiritual renewal would not appear in Indonesia until the tyranny of two Indonesian tyrants foreseen had ended. These appear to be Sukarno and Suharto; the former was overthrown in 1967, the succeeding dictator, Suharto, stepped down in 1998 after popular pressure aimed to expand democratic powers to the people over his dictatorship after an economic crisis.

The downfall of the last dictator would usher in a time of “bloodshed and troubles.” This could describe the Indonesian economic crash, the ecological disasters and social unrest plaguing Indonesia in the late 1990s. It could also presage the rise of Islamic fundamentalist terror in the 2000s including secessionist warfare and the catastrophic loss of life along the coast of Sumatra from the great Indian Ocean quake and tsunami on the day after Christmas in 2004 that claimed upwards of 150 to 200,000 Indonesian lives.

Djojobojo promised these crises would be short-lived. Before long, news will be received of a “Spiritual King” from the West who will come to “unite all the world’s religions” as well as its races and cultures in a “thousand-year era of peace.”

The Psalm 83 "Inner Ring" Solidifies

22 December 2010: This report began as an assessment on current events in the Middle East that I sent out as an Email to several Christian brothers on 13 December. The text of that Email follows.

"Subject: Israel - The Ultimate Joint Islamic Cause

Among the "inner ring" Pslam 83 nations only Egypt's publicly vehement opposition to the Shi'a Islamic regime in Iran appears to be intact. And that might change suddenly with an Islamist al-Ikhwan al-Muslimuun (Muslim Brotherhood) victory (coup d'etat) over the Mubarak regime in Cairo.
Syria, Lebanon, Gaza(Philistia), and certain elements within the West Bank are all benefactors of Iranian "assistance" in the continuing and ever increasing confrontation with Israel. Now Jordan, in the person of its reigning monarch, King Abdullah, made it clear yesterday (12 December) that the Hashemite Kingdom intends to follow the lead of its Sunni Arab brothers in reaching out to Iran. This is a stunning and totally out-of-the-blue reversal of Jordanian foreign policy vis-a-vis the Islamic Republic. Why and why now?
Jordan's king wants improved ties with Iran

Excerpt: "The Jordanian (Royal Court) statement quoted Abdullah as saying it was "imperative to undertake practical steps for improving Jordanian-Iranian relations in the service of both countries, their brotherly people and joint Islamic causes and to consolidate security and stability in the region."
Assessment:

I believe this reversal is based upon the Islamic imperative that confrontation with and destruction of Israel is the ultimate in joint Islamic causes. Consolidated security and stability within Dar al-Islam (land of Submission) cannot occur as long as Israel, a/k/a/ Dar al-Harb (Land of War) exists within the Islamic crescent. Tehran's rapprochement with Amman cannot occur as long as its unilateral peace agreement with Israel remains in force. Thus Jordanian abrogation of the agreement may occur without notice or upon the flimsiest of pretexts. Jordan sees what exists to its north - from Iran to the Mediterranean Sea - an Iranian-led and armed to the teeth coalition is intent on vanquishing Israel in the near term. Jordan, the Hashemite Kingdom, set itself up as the guardian of Islam's holiest shrines - from Mecca to Jerusalem - and over the course of recent history has lost both, the former to the Saudi's and the latter to the Israeli's. I believe this underlies King Abdullah's decision. It is an attempt to restore the Hashemite Kingdom's Islamic legitimacy and honor.

King Abdullah wants to save his kingdom - he's very aware of the near disaster his father faced in 1970 when the "Palestinians" nearly took the kingdom for their own. "Bloody September" is the root cause of the Lebanon we know today, and the Jordan. Abdullah is making sure the Palestinian's have their own state so that they don't want his."

Thus can we clearly see a palpable real-world and real-time solidification of the very appropriate "inner ring" nomenclature coined by Isralestine author Bill Salus. King Abdullah has no other option but to cosign Jordan to the confederation of nations which have prophetically uttered in their native Arabic language, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”

It was in no small way that I was a little more than slightly surprised this morning to see the secular Israeli website DEBKAfile publish an article (Jordan winds down military-intelligence ties with Israel) which reiterated the primary points I'd made in the above assessment. We've "closed the loop" so to speak at the tail end of the year 2010 A.D. and beginning of the Jewish year 5771.

On a related note rgarding Psalm 83, verse 8 (YLT):

"Asshur also has joined with them; They have helped ("zĕrowa`") the children of Lot."

Asshur was and is Iraq.

The first part of the prophetic verse above begins in the present and relative to the discrete time period of 1947-2003 (i.e. Asshur also has) and tranistions to a past tense (they have helped...) in its conclusion. The "Selah" at the end of verse 8 is a musical crescendo, it is an exhaltation!
In the period of 1947 to 2003 the Iraqi military precisley fulfilled the role of Asshur as assigned by Asaph. Precisely, and specifically to a 'T'. In fact, Saddam Hussein's clan/family hailed from that former northern Iraqi/Assyrian territory. Iraqi support and direct involvement with the sons of Lot (Ammon and Moab = Jordan) and the whole Arab League's war of annihilation against Israel is precisely what Asaph was speaking to. British-trained Iraqi generals led the pan-Arabic armies in the wars of 1947-47, 1967 and 1973.

Iraq (Asshur) last struck at Israel in 2001 with Saddam Hussein's Scud missiles, and I remain open to the possibility that the past tense of Psalm 83:8b may yet be future, that Iraq may yet assist in some token manner in the coming final battlefield engagement. For that engagement I make note that both Iraqi officers and enlisted are U.S.-trained and equipped professional soldiers. They very well could provide highly-prized assistance or augmentation to Jordan's U.S.-made and trained armed forces in the final battlefield engagement.

Additional Asshur/Iraqi "zĕrowa`" provided to the "children of Lot":

Iraq provided training, logisitics, sanctuary and finance to the Abu Nidal "Palestinian" terrorist organization;

Iraq provided significant financial aid and assistance to HAMAS;

Iraq hosted the Palestinian Liberation Front (PLF) under Abu Abbas in Baghdad (of SS Achille Lauro/Leon Klinghoffer infamy);

Iraq paid the families of "Palestinian" suicide bomber cash rewards of $10,000 for each act of mass-murder of Jews and martyrdom. This amount was raised to $25,000 in 2002. The cash was transited directly via automobile from Baghdad to Amman, Jordan along the 10 Freeway and on to the West Bank paymaster Mahmoud Besharat.

The Iraqi Salman Pak terrorist training center specialized the terrorist arts of aircraft, ship and train hijacking, IED and VBIED production, sabotage and assassination.
My final note on this is to recognize that this is an interpretation which could only be fulfilled in this last 'end times' generation, the generation which has witnessed the budding of the Fig Tree.

Vigilance for the Holidays and Beyond

22 December 2010: Once again the Christmas and New Year holiday season is upon us. Unlike last year when Al Qaeda attempted, and thankfully failed, to blow an American airliner out of the sky on Christmas day, this year Al Qaeda in Iraq have a standing terrorist operations order to carry out attacks against Christian churches across the globe: “All Christian centers, organizations and institutions, leaders and followers are legitimate targets for the mujahedeen wherever they can reach them.”

Recent AQAP terrorist plots discovered in the UK that are linked to Anwar al-AWLAKI are reported to have targets that include landmarks, public areas, shopping centers, hotels, restaurants and, last but not by any means least, our food supply. The ages of the terrorists primed to carry out these attacks are said to range from their late teens to early twenties.

The persistence of reports citing planned Mumbai-style terrorist attacks remains a primary concern for Europe and well as North America. Most recently, alerts were issued for a type of terrorist the Northeast Intelligence Network has long cited as being highly prized Al Qaeda recruits, the so-called “lily white” terrorists. This group of “white jihadists” is known to exist since two of them were recently killed while in training for their assignments by just one of the nearly one hundred C.I.A. Predator drone attacks in the northwestern Pakistani region of Waziristan this year. The two who were killed were among many “white jihadists” known to been in training there.

So, the war goes on. Life goes on. And we each in our own way, where ever we live, work, travel and enjoy recreation and good times with family and friends in this holiday season and beyond need to be fearlessly vigilant to the Islamic enemy coming at us from any and every direction. Officials: CIA gave water-boarders $5 Million legal shield

WASHINGTON (AP) — When the CIA decided to water-board suspected terror detainees in overseas prisons, the agency turned to a pair of contractors. The men designed the CIA’s interrogation program and also personally took part in the water-boarding sessions. But to do the job, the CIA had to promise to cover at least $5 million in legal fees for them in case there was trouble down the road, former U.S. officials said. Turns out the contractors needed that secret agreement as taxpayers pay to defend the men in a federal investigation over an interrogation tactic the United States now says is torture. The deal is even more generous than the protections the agency typically provides its own officers, giving the two men access to more money to finance their defenses. It has long been known that psychologists Jim Mitchell and Bruce Jessen created the CIA’s interrogation program. But former U.S. intelligence officials said Mitchell and Jessen also repeatedly subjected terror suspects inside CIA-run secret prisons to water-boarding, a simulated drowning tactic. The revelation of the contractors’ involvement is the first known confirmation of any individuals who conducted water-boarding at the so-called black sites, underscoring just how much the agency relied on outside help in its most sensitive interrogations.

[Editor's Note: Because Hezbollah will undoubtedly be militarily activated during the forthcoming Iran/Israel conflagration, it is virtually unavoidable that the nation of Lebanon is likely to suffer horrifying destruction at the hands of Israeli weapons of mass destruction. Utilizing the power of international law, those factions seeking to indict Hezbollah for participation in the murder of Lebanon's former PM have hoped for a political resolution. The unfortunate truth is, Hezbollah, as a surrogate of Syria and Iran (just as Hamas is Iran's pawn in Gaza), must be dealt with in a military fashion.

December 20…two years before D-Day

Winter Solstice 2012 in the northern hemisphere, the predicted date for major changes on earth…and the end of the Maya calendar. In exactly two years from today, on December 20th, 2012, recent calculations on the Sunspot Cycle of the sun show a mega incident coincide with the end of the Maya calendar, the iChing and many other sources. The alignment of planets could help a major sun eruption catapult its gunk towards our planet and create an enormous magnetic storm, paralysing our communication systems, satellites and electricity grid.

It could take between 1 and 3 days for the magnetic storm to reach our planet seen the large distance of the sun. Scientists and NASA agree that if this were indeed to happen, and the possibility is very real, it would impact life on earth in a dramatic way and even cause a polar shift.

Today is a milestone date, since we are now counting down the last two years to this moment. We can do two things: hope this doesn’t happen and prepare for the worst. Even if the impact is not as bad as expected by several researchers, we need to prepare.

A Virgin, Immanuel and the Incarnation

Ahaz was faithless.
Neighboring countries of Syria and Israel banned together to fight the Southern Kingdom of Judah. Ahaz, the king of Judah, sent for the king of Assyria to come to his rescue.
The LORD God is sovereign in the affairs of the nations and He sent the Hebrew prophet Isaiah to counsel Ahaz. Isaiah said, “Take care, and be calm, have no fear and do not be fainthearted because the two stubs of smoldering firebrands . . .” (Isaiah 7:4). The two threatening countries are just burned up pieces of firewood. God said, “It shall not stand, nor shall it come to pass” (v. 7).
What would you have done if you were Ahaz? The pressure on Ahaz was intense, not just the threat of war, but the LORD was breathing down his neck as well. “If you will not believe, you surely shall not last” (v. 19). Ahaz, you are as good as gone yourself if you do not trust Me. If you trust Me I will deliver you from this smoke, but if you don’t you are through as a king. Moreover, trusting in the Assyrian army is not trusting in Yahweh.
Ahaz refused to trust in the LORD. So He spoke to the king again, “Ask for a sign for yourself from the LORD your God; make it as deep as Sheol or high as heaven” (v. 11). Go ahead, ask Ahaz! What an opportunity to see God do the impossible!
King Ahaz got a little religious. “I will not ask, nor will I test the LORD” (v. 12). That was exactly what he was doing by not trusting Yahweh. God invited Ahaz to ask for the “sign.” He was not testing God; God was testing him. The “sign” was a pledge of divine certainty, a miracle wrought for evidential purposes.

You have been busy most of your life, so you will find other things to do once you retire from working. In all of your activities at any age, you need to keep focused on Me as the center of your life. However many years that you are given, keep doing all that you can for My glory.”

Jesus said: “My people, you are experiencing some freezing weather along with some lake effect snow. This saw over the ice in the vision is an idea of the cutting cold weather that is affecting your airplane flights and other vehicle movement in these storms. I have warned you before of how vulnerable you are in the cold winter weather. Imagine if you lost your electricity, how important it would be to have a backup source of heat and light. This is why I have asked you to store one year’s supply of food, and a winter’s supply of wood and kerosene along with the needed heaters. When the one world people want to take you over, you could see how they could control people through their needs for food and fuel. At My refuges My angels will supply your food and shelter needs, so trust in My protection. Even at the refuges, everyone will have their own job to do, as you will be busy in providing for your survival. Pray more that you will guard your soul for its needs of being pure than any needs of the body.”

There is just so much that man can control, but My creation is too awesome to overcome. Snow and ice storms give a reality lesson to My people whenever you are feeling high and mighty. This celebration of My coming Kingdom is reason for rejoicing, and it is why you see the rose colored vestments worn today. You have St. John the Baptist preparing the way for My ministry as he calls people forth to change their sinful lives. The vision of the Star of Bethlehem represents My Light that is dispersing the darkness of sin. You are seeing the nights getting longer now. After My birth the nights will grow shorter and the light of day will grow longer. Rejoice in this Advent Season, and be thankful for My coming to save all of you from your sins.”

Jesus said: “My people, the coming Antichrist will use your large football stadiums to talk to thousands of people at once how he wants to have them worship him with his demonic power of suggestion. He will also have his appearance broadcast to all the other nations via satellite TV. This is how he will spread his influence all over the world. Once he takes power, My people will need to be at their refuges of protection. Do not look at his eyes or listen to his voice. After the Warning, this is why you need to put your TVs and computers out of your homes so he cannot control your minds. Beware of mind control techniques being used on large groups of people wherever they are meeting.”

Even St. John the Baptist criticized Herod for living with his brother’s wife, so she had him beheaded. In the Gospel I told My apostles how I would be mistreated as well, and even be killed. The worldly are constantly seeking money, fame, and power. The Christians instead are seeking love of God and their neighbor as themselves. Those, who follow Me, I help with their necessities, but they share what they have, and desire to do everything for My greater glory. Those, who kill, cheat, and steal for their own personal gain, are on the path to hell if they do not repent. Do not be surprised then that when you follow My ways, you will be unpopular, criticized, and you may even have to suffer as I suffered at the hands of men. Those, who are faithful to My Word, will have their reward in heaven, despite any abuse that they may suffer for spreading My Gospel.”

Jesus said: “My people, in several situations with Moses at Mt. Sinai, God the Father shared graces with the people of the world in giving them the Ten Commandments. Now in the last century or so there have also been apparitions received on the mountains by young children through My Blessed Mother. The mountains have a holy aura for graces and the mercy of God that have been shared with all of mankind. Some people do not want to follow My Commandments because it makes demands of love on their lifestyles to be without sinful earthly pleasures. Those, who want to gain heaven, need to pray and follow My laws which are really guidelines of how to lead a holy life. Even the messages to the children also are a help to guide your lives to heaven. Be grateful that heaven has revealed to you the gifts of My Commandments of love and the messages of comfort from My Blessed Mother.”

Jesus said: “My people, you have seen throughout history how those in power have created false flag* events to trigger a desired war. Part of America’s problems is that Congress is no longer claiming their power to declare war. Instead the President and those desiring war are making that decision. Now in some countries as England, France, and Greece, you are seeing riots among the people over austerity changes to correct overspending. Even your talk shows are concerned that austerity changes in America could precipitate riots among interest groups. What is more concerning is if some elements of your society do not get their way with the new Congress. You could see some false flag* riots in order to declare martial law. Once martial law is invoked, the one world people will have their opportunity to force a new world order over you in forming the North American Union. If you see wholesale riots all over America, then be ready to leave for My refuges. Martial law will be a license for the one world people to kill the religious and patriots who are their real targets. Then you will see the men in black take prisoners to boxcars for extermination at their death camps. By leaving early for My refuges, you can avoid being captured by the evil authorities. Pray for My word when it is the right time to leave your homes.”

CHRIST CAME WITH AN INVITATION AND A WARNING

Jesus stood in the temple and invited everyone to come under his merciful wings of protection. He called out to the blind, the sick, the leprous, the poor, the lost, everyone to come and find healing and forgiveness. But the religious crowd refused his offer. So Christ testified of them, “Ye would not!” (Matthew 23:37).

As I read this, a question arises: Here in the New Testament, would God dispose of an old work the same way he did in the Old? Would he cast off that which rejected his offers of grace, mercy and awakening?

Yes, he would. Jesus answered those who rejected him by saying, “Behold, your house is left unto you desolate” (Matthew 23:38). He told them, “This temple is now your house, not mine. I’m leaving it. And I leave what you wasted and deserted.”

He then added, “I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord” (23:39). He was declaring to them, “My glory is no longer in this old work.”

Think of it. Here stood mercy and grace Incarnate, saying, “This old thing isn’t mine anymore.” Then Jesus moved on to Pentecost, to the beginning of a new thing. He was about to raise up a new church, not a replica of the old. And he would make it brand-new from the foundation up. It would be a church of new priests and people, all born again in him.

Let me ask you: Is what you see going on in the church today representative of who Jesus is? Is what we’re seeing truly the church triumphant, the spotless bride of Christ? Does it reveal to a lost world the very nature of God? Is this the best that God’s Spirit can produce in these last days?

Have you found a church where Christ is truly present and the Word is faithfully preached? How very thankful you should be. Perhaps you are among the multitudes who can’t find a church that has life. I hear their cry, “I cannot find a church that is meeting my spiritual hunger. Too much entertainment—too much self—too much dryness.”

Take heart—God is soon going to shake things up in unbelievable ways. In that awesome shaking of all things, God will raise up true shepherds who will feed hungering sheep.

Since we're fast approaching Christmas, we've decided to do something a bit out of the ordinary for the next two weeks. The particular edition of "The Hal Lindsey Report" available to you will depend on which network or local station you watch.
For those of you who watch the show on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) or http://www.hischannel.com/, I'll present Part Two of my series called "Global Government Rising." As I showed you last week, there are powerful people and organizations right here in the United States who have been working diligently for decades to bring America under the authority of a global government. It appears they are succeeding.
They are being helped immeasurably by the global economic meltdown. The debate rages over whether the economic crisis is a result of normal market cycles and risky financial practices or it's a 'manufactured' crisis - meaning powerful financial families and institutions have intentionally caused it in order to benefit from it. Either way, the globalists are taking advantage of the fear and panic to pursue their 'one-world' agenda. If you watched "The Hal Lindsey Report" last week, you saw Secretary of State Hillary Clinton blithely tell a gathering at the European Union that the Obama Administration is using the economic meltdown to advance its agenda on climate change and energy.
In the same way, the 'globalists' are using the crisis to not only lay the foundation of a one-world government, but actually create the first governing bodies in that one-world regime. And the United States is eagerly signing on with the program. On the news each night, we are actually witnessing prophecy being fulfilled before our eyes.
This week, I will examine the critical Bible prophecies that describe the events we are watching unfold today. Those prophecies also describe the two leaders who will emerge to lead the one-world government that now looms in our future.
Folks, I know I keep saying this to you, but each time I repeat it, it's even more true: Get ready! Jesus is coming soon! You see, the 'man of lawlessness' that will lead the one-world government cannot be revealed until the One who restrains him has been removed from the earth. 'The restrainer' is the Holy Spirit. And since the Holy Spirit dwells in all true believers, to remove Him from the earth means we must be removed, also. That's what we call the 'Rapture.'
Because we see the Antichrist's government now being created by the nations of the world; because we see the world plunged into financial chaos and desperately searching for a solution (which is precisely how the Antichrist will achieve worldwide control); and because we have a blow by blow blueprint of these final days provided us by the ancient prophets, I can say with authority that time is short. Make sure you've accepted the pardon that Jesus died to purchase for you. Make sure your friends and family have the opportunity to accept this pardon, too. It's the best Christmas present they will ever receive!
For those of you who watch "The Hal Lindsey Report" on Daystar Television Network, Inspiration Network, CPM Network, or various independent local stations, you will see a program that explains some little known facts about Christmas.
Each year, I receive many requests to examine the story of those mysterious 'wise men' who traveled so far to worship the new 'King of the Jews.' Who were they? How did they know to watch for a sign in the heavens? How long did they wait for that sign? Where did they come from? (Hint: it's a land that is frequently in the news today.) Why did gentiles come to worship the King of the Jews? How did God use them to preserve the Messiah's life? You'll learn the answers to all of these questions and more this week when I discuss "The Mystery of the Magi."

Jesus said: “My people, you are aware of many relics of My time during My mission on earth. Some have small pieces of My cross, the spear of Longinus, the crown of thorns, and the veil of Veronica. One of the more treasured relics was one they called the ‘Holy Grail’ which I used at the Last Supper for the bread and wine that I consecrated into My Body and Blood. This suffering and death on the cross was My ransom for the sins of all mankind, and it was the reason that I came as a man on the earth. This Advent Season is the beginning of My life story all over again as you will be celebrating My birth on Christmas. There are many peoples that honor My infancy with their novenas and traditions. Give praise and thanks to your Lord who loves you so much that I was willing to die for your salvation.”

Prayer Group:
Jesus said: “My people, large satellites after time have their orbits drawn closer to earth until they breakup. Large pieces that survive burning up usually land in the ocean, but on occasion people mistake them for meteors. These falling satellites are watched by your military, but you are only warned if there is a risk of radiation being spread. With enough care for orbits, such vehicles could be directed to places away from inhabited areas.”

Jesus said: “My people, you have seen many tunnels through rocky mountains to run roads and railroads. Such hardened protection could also house military equipment that could withstand even nuclear attacks. There are many such hiding places that are housing food and protection for your important authorities. Some are underground cities, but others are hidden in rocky mountains. I will protect My faithful at My refuges that also will be shielded from bombs by My angels. The one world people know they are going to meet resistance, so they are preparing these bomb shelters for their own protection.”

Jesus said: “My people, as the persecution of the tribulation is about to start, it will become necessary to hold Masses in the homes, and prayer groups will need to meet in secret. My faithful have tabernacles, Mass kits, bread, wine, and candles ready for home Masses. Priests and My faithful will be targets for the one world people to kill, so when I give the warning to leave, then bring your priests to My refuges. When you call on Me, your guardian angels will lead you to My nearest refuge. The angels will shield you with invisibility so the evil ones cannot find you.”

Jesus said: “My people, you are celebrating the feast of Juan Diego who presented his tilma full of flowers in front of the bishop during the winter. His tilma had a miraculous image of My Blessed Mother on it, and this was a sign that verified Juan’s visions of Our Lady as real. This tilma has been a sign of My Blessed Mother’s protection of all the Americas under the title of ‘Our Lady of Guadeloupe’. Ask for My Blessed Mother’s help in prayer, and honor her in any processions using this image.”

Jesus said: “My people, it was part of My plan to use the Roman census that would draw all the Jews to their place of ancestry. This was to fulfill the passage from Micah that foretold My birth in the city of David at Bethlehem. (Micah 5:1) ‘But you Bethlehem-Ephratha too small to be among the clans of Juda, from you shall come forth for Me one who is to be ruler in Israel..’ Some called Me the Son of David because this truly is the lineage of both of My parents. See how all that was foretold about Me in the Scriptures had to be fulfilled.”

Jesus said: “My people, the riots in England were part of some austerity measures to try and help balance their budgets and cut their debts. Take a good look at this protest because you could see such riots in America when your own Federal and State governments start cutting your overspending with entitlements in order to balance your budgets. Some are crying over no Social Security raises and no government employee raises. What will happen when pensions and other entitlements cannot be paid because there is not enough money to pay the people. Truly you could have riots which is why the one world people are ready with their underground cities that would protect the elite from harm. Trust in Me to feed you and shelter you at My refuges.”

Jesus said: “My people, many Spanish speaking countries honor Me with a novena of prayers before Christmas. Some of you have Santo Nino statues of My infancy at your home altars. By praying this novena, you could have the souls of your family as your intention to pray for. You could also do this novena as there are several on the internet to follow.”

Jesus said: “My people, you know how I had prepared My Blessed Mother for her role in bringing a Redeemer for My people into this world. From her very conception she was blessed to have no original sin on her soul. She was to continue throughout her whole life to be sinless so she would be a perfect Ark of the Covenant to carry Me for nine months until My birth. Her Immaculate Heart has always been joined with My Sacred Heart. My Blessed Mother is also a gift to all humanity as your spiritual mother. She encourages all of her children to pray her rosary which contains quotations from Scripture in the prayers. This feast is also a National feast because she is patroness of America under her title of the ‘Immaculate Conception’. The basilica in her honor in Washington, D.C. is testimony to her place as your Holy Mother. Give thanks to My Blessed Mother for placing her mantle of protection over all of her children.”

Jesus said: “My people, your televisions have mesmerized your people into believing what is said over and over until you are brainwashed to believe the one world people’s line. The netting behind the screen shows the TV is dragging people into wasting a lot of their time. There are a few good religious programs, but there are more violent, and promiscuous movies and programs which are sending the wrong message to your young people. You should limit your TV watching to no more than one hour a day, or your children will become dependent on it as a babysitter. Use of the internet on your computers is another source of violence and pornography. Some sites can even cause marriage breakups. This also should be limited in the time you are on it. You can see why it will be necessary to remove these image sources once the Antichrist controls the channels. Especially after the Warning, remove your TVs and computers from your homes so you do not look at the Antichrist’s eyes or listen to his voice where he could control your mind. Be aware of possible addictions with TV watching and use of the internet. Pray for My help so you are focused more on spiritual things than worldly things.”

Enough snow on the roof can melt and form icicles which can cause water leaks or damage to the roof with enough weight of the snow. This is why after heavy snows, some people shovel the snow off the roof as a precaution. Keeping a clean driveway or a clear roof can have an analogy in the spiritual world to keeping a clean soul by Confession. In your secular world you like to be able to drive out of your driveway, especially for emergencies. In your spiritual world it is even more important to keep your soul pure in case I call you home in death. Your soul is even more important than your body which will pass away, but your soul lives on forever. During Advent as you prepare for Christmas, you need to focus more on your prayers and frequent Confession so you can present your spiritual gifts to Me at My crib.”

Jesus said: “My people, I have given you many messages on the need for fresh water because it is so necessary for survival, but only three per cent of the earth’s water does not contain salts. I have mentioned the need for fresh water sources at all of My refuges. I will see to it that all refuges have sufficient fresh water for survival and the wells will not run dry. Water will be multiplied where needed. You have seen problems with pollution and people stealing water for bottling purposes. One of the solutions for increasing fresh water supplies is the use of membrane technology where there is access to ocean water next to deserts. In the West where there are fresh water shortages, membranes could be used on ocean water off California to make more fresh water. This would come at a price people would be willing to pay for. Pray that sufficient amounts of fresh water can be provided for all peoples all over the world.”

Jesus said: “My people, the evil ones will be getting worse in the authorities, and the religious persecution will spread to public closing of churches, or they may be destroyed by fire. This is another reason for Masses in the homes until it is time to go to My refuges. Your prayer groups would be good places to meet, but you may have to be secret about where and when to meet. This is why it would be the right time to start going to a prayer group, or forming your own prayer group. You can see how Christians are being persecuted already in the media, and this will only get worse, just as Hitler persecuted the Jews. It will be harder for Christians to hold jobs, buy food, homes, or anything else. When the authorities mandate chips in the body, or start killing Christians, then it will be time to call on Me to have your guardian angels lead you to My nearest refuge.”

Jesus said: “My people, many of your terrorist attacks have occurred around Christian holy days. This vision of a terrorist group is how they are plotting to blow up some crucial power stations that could cripple your electric grid in the middle of winter. Power outages are difficult to recover from, but people are more vulnerable for heating their homes, and finding food during the winter. Important grid locations should have cameras and alert security so you can prevent situations that would cause long power outages. Storms and heavy snow cause enough outages, but sabotage should be a little easier to prevent. This is another reason to have some extra food on hand with another source of heating your house as well. Being prepared for times when you are most vulnerable is the best insurance when bad things happen. Preparing your soul with frequent Confession is another insurance when I will call you home.”

Prophecies of the Messiah

Biblical prophecy is a fascinating subject. It not only includes predictions of events that are still in the future. It also includes predictions of events that were future at the time the prophecy was given, but which have now been fulfilled and are part of the past. This latter category includes all the prophecies about a coming Messiah that Christians believe were accurately fulfilled in the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus. If the Bible really does contain such prophecies, then we would seem to have evidence that's at least consistent with the divine inspiration of the Bible. One can see how an all-knowing God could accurately foretell the future, but it's not clear how a finite human being could do so. Thus, if there are accurately fulfilled prophecies in the Bible, then we have yet another reason to believe that the biblical worldview is true.
The Place of His Birth
Let's begin with a prophecy about the Messiah's birthplace. 'Messiah' is a Hebrew term that simply means 'anointed one'. When translated into Greek, the language of the New Testament, the term becomes 'Christ'. Christians believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah promised in the Hebrew Scriptures (see Mark 14:61-62).
In Micah 5:2 we read,

"But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times."

This prophecy was given in the eighth century B.C., more than seven hundred years before the birth of Jesus!
Notice, first, that it refers to a future ruler who will come from the town of Bethlehem. When King Herod, shortly after Jesus' birth, asked the Jewish religious leaders where the Christ (or Messiah) was to be born, they told him that he was to be born in Bethlehem and cited this verse from Micah as support (Matt. 2:1-6). Both Matthew and Luke confirm that Jesus was born in Bethlehem (Matt. 2:1 and Luke 2:4-7). So He clearly meets this necessary qualification for being the promised Messiah.
But that's not all. Micah also says that the origins of this ruler are "from of old, from ancient times." How should we understand this? One commentator notes,

"The terms 'old' . . . and 'ancient times' . . . may denote 'great antiquity' as well as 'eternity' in the strictest sense."¹

Dr. Allen Ross states,

"At the least this means that Messiah was pre-existent; at the most it means He is eternal."²

Micah's prophecy thus suggests that the Messiah will be a supernatural, perhaps even divine, person. And this astonishing conclusion is precisely what Jesus claimed for Himself!³
The Time of His Appearing
Let's now consider a fascinating prophecy that, in the opinion of many scholars, tells us when the Messiah would make His appearance. It's found in Daniel 9.
Daniel was one of the Jewish captives who had been brought to Babylon by King Nebuchadnezzar. The prophecy in Daniel 9 was given in the sixth century B.C. While much can be said about this passage, we must focus on a few important points.
To begin, verse 24 gives us the time parameters during which the prophecy will unfold. It reads, "Seventy 'sevens' are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin," and so on. Although we can't go into all the details, the "seventy 'sevens'" concern seventy distinct seven-year periods of time, or a total of 490 years.
Next, verse 25 tells us that from the issuing of a decree to rebuild Jerusalem until the coming of the Messiah, there will be a total of sixty-nine 'sevens', or 483 years. There are two views we must consider. The first holds that this decree was issued by the Persian ruler Artaxerxes to Ezra the priest in 457 B.C.⁴ Adding 483 years to this date brings us to A.D. 27, the year many scholars believe Jesus began His public ministry! The second view holds that the reference is to a later decree of Artaxerxes, issued on March 5, 444 B.C.⁵ Adding 483 years to this date takes us to A.D. 38. But according to this view, the years in question should be calculated according to a lunar calendar, consisting of twelve thirty-day months.⁶ If each of the 483 years consists of only 360 days, then we arrive at March 30, 33 A.D. Dr. Allen Ross says "that is the Monday of the Passion week, the day of the Triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem."⁷ The views thus differ on the date of Jesus' death, but each can comfortably fit the evidence.⁸
Finally, verse 26 says that after the period of sixty-nine 'sevens' the Messiah will be 'cut off' and have nothing. According to one scholar, "The word translated ‘cut off' is used of executing . . . a criminal."⁹ All of this fits quite well with the crucifixion of Jesus. Indeed, the accuracy of this prophecy, written over five hundred years before Jesus' birth, bears eloquent testimony to the divine inspiration and truth of the Bible.
The Nature of His Ministry
In Deuteronomy 18:15 Moses told the Israelites,

"The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own brothers. You must listen to him."

This verse promised a succession of prophets who would speak God's words to the people. Ultimately, however, it refers to Jesus Christ. One commentator notes that the Messianic interpretation of this passage is mentioned not only in the New Testament, but also among the Essenes, Jews, Gnostics, and others.¹⁰ Peter explicitly applied this passage to Jesus in one of his sermons (Acts 3:22-23).
But not only was the Messiah to be a great prophet, it was also foretold that he would be a priest and king as well. The prophet Zechariah was told to make a royal crown and symbolically set it on the head of Joshua, the high priest. The Lord then said,

"Here is the man whose name is the Branch . . . he will . . . sit and rule on his throne. And . . . be a priest on his throne. And there will be harmony between the two" (Zechariah 6:12-13).

The title 'Branch' is a messianic title.¹¹ So the scene symbolizes the future Messiah, here referred to as 'the Branch,' uniting the offices of king and priest in one person.
But why is it important that the Messiah be a priest? As a prophet he speaks God's word to the people. As a king he rules from his throne. But why must he also be a priest? "Because priests dealt with sin," says Michael Brown, a Christian scholar who is ethnically Jewish. "Priests bore the iniquities of the people on their shoulders."¹² And this, of course, is precisely what Jesus did for us: "He . . . bore our sins in his body on the tree" (1 Pet. 2:24).
Dr. Brown points to a tradition in the Talmud that says that on the Day of Atonement there were three signs that the animal sacrifices offered by the high priest had been accepted by God. According to this tradition, in the forty years prior to the temple's destruction in A.D. 70, all three signs turned up negative every single time.¹³ Dr. Brown comments, "Jesus probably was crucified in A.D. 30, and the temple was destroyed in A.D. 70."¹⁴ So during this forty-year period God signaled that he no longer accepted these sacrifices. Why? Because final atonement had been made by Jesus!¹⁵
The Significance of His Death
Without any doubt, one of the most astonishing prophecies about the promised Messiah is found in Isaiah 52-53. The verses were written about seven hundred years before the birth of Jesus. They largely concern the death of the Lord's 'Suffering Servant.' According to many scholars, a careful comparison of this passage with the Gospels' portrayal of Jesus' suffering and death reveals too many similarities to be merely coincidental.
In some of the most-cited verses from this intriguing passage we read:

"He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all" (Isa. 53:5-6).

Here we have a vivid depiction of substitutionary atonement. The Lord lays upon His servant "the iniquity of us all" and punishes him "for our transgressions." In other words, God's servant dies as a substitute in our place. This is precisely what Jesus claimed for himself, saying, "the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many" (Mark 10:45).
The parallels between Isaiah's 'Suffering Servant' and Jesus are certainly impressive. But some scholars have suggested that Isaiah's 'servant' is actually the nation of Israel and not the Messiah. Dr. Michael Brown dismisses this notion however, insisting that "nowhere in the . . . foundational, authoritative Jewish writings do we find the interpretation that this passage refers to the nation of Israel. References to the servant as a people actually end with Isaiah 48:20."¹⁶ What's more, he says,

"Many . . . Jewish interpreters . . . had no problem seeing this passage as referring to the Messiah . . . By the sixteenth century, Rabbi Moshe Alshech said, 'Our rabbis with one voice accept and affirm . . . that the prophet is speaking of the Messiah, and we shall . . . also adhere to the same view.'"¹⁷

For his part, Dr. Brown is so convinced that this passage prophetically depicts the suffering and death of Jesus that he feels "as if God would have to apologize to the human race and to the Jewish people for putting this passage into the scriptures" if Jesus is not the one in view!¹⁸ Although this is a strong statement, it's not unjustified. For Isaiah 53 not only foretells the death of God's servant for the sins of the people, it also implies his resurrection!
The Mystery of His Resurrection
In the opinion of many scholars, Isaiah 53 not only foretells the death of God's servant; it also implies his resurrection from the dead!
It's important to notice that Isaiah 53 makes it absolutely clear that the Messiah is put to death. It says that "he was cut off from the land of the living" (v. 8), and that "he poured out his life unto death" (v. 12). On the other hand, however, it also says that "he will see his offspring and prolong his days" (v. 10), and that after his suffering "he will see the light of life and be satisfied" (v. 11). So the text teaches both that the Messiah will die and that he will live again. And although the passage doesn't explicitly teach the Messiah's resurrection, it's certainly consistent with it. This is really staggering in light of the compelling historical evidence for the death and resurrection of Jesus!¹⁹
Let's now pause to consider what we've learned in this brief article. Micah 5:2 teaches that the Messiah would come out of Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. Also, by teaching the preexistence, or even eternality, of the Messiah, the prophecy suggests that he'll be a supernatural, possibly even divine, figure. In Daniel 9:24-27 we saw that the Messiah would appear to Israel sometime around A.D. 27–33, precisely the time of Jesus' public ministry! Deuteronomy and Zechariah teach that the Messiah would minister as prophet, priest, and king. As a prophet, Jesus spoke God's word to the people. As a priest, he offered himself as a perfect sacrifice for our sins. And while he didn't reign as king during his first advent, he was called "the king of the Jews" (Matt. 27:11, 37). And Christians believe that he's in some sense reigning now from heaven and that he'll one day reign on earth as well (Luke 1:32-33). Finally, Isaiah 53 teaches that the Messiah would die for our sins - and then somehow live again. This is consistent with the New Testament's record of Jesus' substitutionary death and bodily resurrection.
Of course, we've not been able to consider all the prophecies. But hopefully enough has been said to conclude with Dr. Brown that if Jesus isn't the Messiah, "there will never be a Messiah. It's too late for anyone else. It's him or no one."²⁰ Well, you've now heard the evidence; the verdict is up to you.

Sin of Unbelief

We live in a day of tolerance.
But our problem is we tolerate the wrong things. The last virtue of the ungodly is tolerance. When the ungodly have abandoned all other moral standards, the cry of the ungodly is for more tolerance of their immorality and ungodliness.
One pastor remarked recently, “People do not want anybody to pass judgment while they are engaged in the most vile perversions and immoral ungodliness imaginable.”
One recent study in the United States demonstrated that almost all high school graduates are convinced there are no absolutes.
The truth still stands; there is one sin for which Christ never made atonement. The person who dies in unbelief can never be saved, no matter how religious he may be. There is no atonement for the person who does not believe on Jesus Christ as his Savior.
Yes, there is an atonement made for the unbelief of the Christian, because it is temporary. However, the unbelief with which men die never was atoned for by Christ. There is no atonement for the person who died in unbelief. If he had been guilty of every other sin, if he had but believed, he would have been pardoned. The one exception is to die without Christ. The Bible clearly says, “He that believes not shall be damned.”

Twenty times faster…who, I ponder, can handle the next phase of the Mayan Calendar? Certainly not the sleeping masses, certainly not the dark lords, and certainly not those living from a logic based perspective. Expect people to behave erratically, violently, dangerously and uncharacteristically as others behave benevolently, sincerely, lovingly and compassionately. Simply expect the unexpected as the mind and the ego lose their foreground to a world that needs to operate from the heart. We have been forewarned that we will lose our minds so that our hearts can have center stage. If your heart is already your guide post, you ought to be in for some smooth sailing!

The upcoming Universal Era is about transformation and ascension. It will begin in March 2011 and will last a grand total of 260 days, divide by the 13 phases of Mayan incremental time and each creation day and night will be a short 20 days. In the Universal Era, those of you who have prepared your light bodies, will be evolving into fully realized spiritual beings who understand your true nature and the extent of your earthly powers. This is the moment we all came here to witness and be a part of, our own forthcoming evolution and transcendence which has taken 16.4 billion years to accomplish. I have heard that a dance has recently been performed by the Waitaha of NZ, the tribe has not done the dance for over 5000 years. They are another timekeeping tribe which utilizes dance to activate sacred ritual. The natives know the time of the new harmonious era is finally upon us.

I spoke of the three days of darkness in-depth in last years Winter Solstice message and I invite my readers to reread the article entitled “Winter Solstice: The Final Countdown in the Age of Kali”. The basic message of the Maya in regards to the shift is this: we will survive the earth changes, a new dawn will be realized. The path to this new world requires that we are a unified, heartbased collective. When one lives from the heart, there is nothing to fear. We will achieve the highest consciousness called 13.13.13.13.13.13.13.13.13 Ahau.

The Geology of Israel within the Biblical Creation-Flood Framework of History: 2. The Flood Rocks

Abstract

The sedimentary strata that cover most of Israel are an obvious record of the Genesis Flood. A major erosion surface (unconformity) at the base of the sedimentary sequence cut across the Precambrian (pre-Flood) crystalline basement rocks. This resulted from the catastrophic passage of the Flood waters as they rose in enormous tsunami-like surges over the continental land at the initiation of the Flood event. These rising Flood waters transported sediments and marine organisms over the continental land. Many thousands of meters of marine sediments were thus deposited on a vast scale across Israel, rapidly burying myriads of marine organisms in fossil graveyards. Land organisms were similarly overwhelmed by the Flood waters, their remains buried with the marine organisms. The global extent of some of these sedimentary layers in Israel is confirmed by correlations of strata across and between continents, such as the sandstone with pebbles at the base of the Flood sequence, and the massive pure chalk beds at the top. The biblical account of the Flood describes the formation of mountains from halfway through to the end of the year-long Flood event. Thus late in the Flood powerful tectonic upheaval processes overturned and upthrust Flood-deposited sedimentary strata to form these mountains. Simultaneous isostatic adjustments also resulted in restoring continental land surfaces as the Flood waters receded and drained into new deep ocean basins. In Israel this great regression is marked by the end of the widespread “marine” sedimentation and an erosion surface across the country. The subsequent minor local continental sedimentation represents residual post-Flood geologic activity. The Hebrew prophet Isaiah offered a great invitation to everyone to come to the fountain of grace.
“Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost” (Isaiah 55:1).
The blessings of God are available “without cost.” Salvation is a free gift of God. This invitation is a picture of grace in the Old Testament. These blessings are gifts of divine grace, and they are also obtained by grace. They are received only by a sense of need and readiness to accept them.
When speaking of the remnant of Israel the apostle Paul wrote, “But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace” (Romans 11:6). Free grace and works are like water and oil; they do not mix. They are opposites; they are incompatible.
The only qualification is to be spiritually thirsty and needy. The “water” of refreshing and cleaning that Christ gives is the “water of life.” He gives the “wine” of joy, exhilarating, comforting, and refreshing that “makes glad the heart of man.” He gives “wine” with fullness of holy delight and “milk” that nourishes and satisfies the soul. These are pictures of the satisfying and sustaining qualities of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He brings satisfaction to the soul for time and eternity. The water, wine, and milk are the full supply of life joy and satisfaction in the Christian’s life.

A NEW NORDIC FEDERATION PLANNED WITHIN EUROPE?

An interesting proposal has surfaced that could greatly impact politics, economic and military strategy in Europe. The proposal calls for a “Nordic Union” wherein Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Iceland would merge into a federal union while retaining important local autonomies within their own nations. Greenland, the Faroe Islands and Aland would also be a part of this “Nordic Union” (see first link below).

Each of the nations, individually, carries little weight in overall European politics and decisions. However, if they merge into a single federal union, they will collectively carry much greater weight in European (and even international) affairs. The link indicates that such a development “would undoubtedly be a long process.” However, if the Eurozone fractures and new alignments develop within the EU nations, a Nordic Union with its own “Nordic Euro” might suddenly become more appealing to all the Nordic nations. There has already been discussion of a new “Nordic Euro” or “Central Euro” so the emergence of any new Nordic Euro woud logically call for at least a confederation of the nations in a Nordic Eurozone.

The article notes that such a Nordic Union would cause it to join “the world’s 10-12 biggest economies.” A Nordic Union would make the collective Nordic nations carry much more weight in the European decisions that are now largely made by Germany, France, and the UK. A Nordic Union would also have strategic advantages. It would completely control all access to the Baltic Sea and no Russian warship could make it out into the Atlantic Ocean in a time of war without fighting its way through all the shore defenses that a Nordic Union could place on its seacoasts. A Nordic Union would also surely have the combined resources and skills to make nuclear weapons.

The second link also might give impetus to the concept of a Nordic Union. NATO members Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are very exposed to Russian pressure and direct attack in a time of war. If a Nordic Union forms, I’ll bet these Baltic nations would very much want to be part of such a Nordic Union as it would strengthen their defensive positions a great deal. Norway and Denmark are NATO members, but Finland and Sweden are not. Sweden and Finland are respectable military forces. Finland fought the Russians essentially to a draw in World War 1 and Sweden has a strong independent military with its own defense industries. If Turkey leaves NATO (as seems ever-more likely), NATO would be greatly strengthened if Sweden and Finland became de facto NATO allies via a Nordic Union.

In terms of biblical significance, a Nordic Union would be an alignment of the descendants of several of the ten tribes of Israel. As readers of my books know, I would regard a Nordic Union, as defined above, as joining the modern Israelite tribes of Benjamin, Naphtali, Issachar and half of the tribe of Dan into one federal (or confederated) union.

None of this might happen, of course, but I wanted readers of this blog to at least be aware of this possibility.

Commentary: Is the Entire World Coming Apart?

North Korea recently attacked South Korea with an artillery barrage that nearly destroyed an island and killed at least four Koreans. The South might retaliate and bring about a larger scale conflict.

An all-out war on the Korean peninsula would be very costly, and a surprise attack on South Korea is possible at any time. The North reportedly has 500 artillery guns aimed at Seoul, the capital of the South. This metropolitan area has over 22 million people, which is about the same size as New York. Casualties could run into the millions quickly.

Mexican drug murders and a bailout for Ireland

Closer to home for Americans, the Mexican newspaper Reforma reported that drug cartel-related murders along the border exceeded 10,000 so far this year. This is almost twice the number of military fatalities in Iraq and Afghanistan combined, and we still have several weeks to go.

The bloodletting and murder of Mexican youth, political office holders and policemen is rampant in border towns such as Ciudad Juarez, which borders El Paso, Texas. The tally includes over 800 killings after torture and more than 300 decapitations. The violence is spreading into the United States every day, and the root cause is the ever-increasing market for illicit drugs in the United States.

Ireland was on the edge of bankruptcy just days ago, but was bailed out at the last minute with huge loans that come with a high price. Why does it make sense to loan people who cannot pay their current loans more money, and then pronounce the problem "solved"?

Portugal, Greece, Spain and Italy are also unable to pay their debts. As a result, the Telegraph newspaper reported that much larger bailouts are coming. "Spain's former leader Felipe Gonzalez warned that unless the European Central Bank steps into the market with mass bond purchases, the EMU system will lurch from one emergency to the next until it blows up" (Dec. 2, 2010). One has to wonder, where will all this money come from?

WikiLeaks embarrassments

As if these stories are not concerning enough, the news is full of the contents of 250,000 secret U.S. State Department communications that have been posted on WikiLeaks. Some of those messages reveal systemic corruption in Afghanistan, likely sales of 19 BM-25 long-range missiles to Iran by North Korea, covert military operations in several locations around the globe, and spying on foreign leaders and slanderous comments that are embarrassing for the U.S. government.

Cash for climate change?

While the above and much more was going on, representatives from more than 190 nations, the United Nations and the European Union were attending the United Nations Climate Change Conference at a resort in Cancun, Mexico. Most of the talk reportedly centered around money and how the G20 developed nations might be coerced into sending enormous amounts to the underdeveloped countries. What these nations have done to deserve the money is not explained.

A world gone crazy?

Is the world going crazy? Problems everywhere appear to be getting worse and seem to have no solution. Why is the world unable to deal with problems at virtually every level?

There is a very real spirit world that influences mankind more than we know. God's Word speaks specifically about "the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience" (Ephesians 2:2). The prophet Isaiah tells us that this same being is one "who weakened the nations!" (Isaiah 14:12).

2012—year of disaster?

Many people believe that the year 2012 could be one of epic disaster for the world. Some base their predictions on the Mayan calendar and some astronomical events that will happen during the year. There was even a recent movie about the possible cataclysms of 2012.

Jesus Christ did not reveal to us the specific time or year of end-time events. But His words ring loud and clear about a coming time of great trouble. "For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be" (Matthew 24:21).

This coming time of tremendous upheaval and suffering is mentioned by several other writers in the Bible. If you know it is coming, how can you prepare?

Faith in What?

“And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” -James 5:15-16

Christmas is around the corner. It’s the time of year when cynics are pressed to enjoy hot cocoa and gingerbread and even non-believers begin to hope for miracles. It’s a time of year when faith pops into conversations.

Faith. People toss the word about, as though faith itself is a good thing. Hard-core LOST fans will recall that a conflict developed between the man of “faith” – John Locke – and the man of “science” – Dr. Jack Shepherd during the show’s early seasons. At one point at the end of the second season, Jack famously asked Locke why it was so easy for him to believe, and Locke said, “It’s never been easy!”

No, faith is not easy, and unfortunately for John Locke, his faith was in an ISLAND – an ISLAND with a smoke monster.

“Have faith,” people will say. Faith? Faith in what? Faith in God? Faith in money? Faith in the good nature of the universe? Faith in our own karma? [By the way, in what bank is karma held, and who are the tellers?] We need to make sure we are building our faith on the right foundation.

A skeptic asked us, “But see, there’s a problem when Grandma prays to be healed and she isn’t healed. She thinks she doesn’t have strong enough faith or that God doesn’t love her. What about Grandma?”

We all want to see miracles. We want to pray for Grandma’s crippling arthritis and see her healed; we don’t want her suffering for two more decades. We want to pray for healing and freedom and see them happen.

This is a hard issue. On top of it, the “name it and claim it” “blab it and grab it” “faith” teachers have skewed our understanding, presenting faith as the means to get anything we want. They leave out major components of what the Bible teaches, forgetting that faith has little to do with getting a Mercedes and everything to do with strengthening our relationship with our Savior.

And here’s the core of the question. What exactly are we supposed to be having faith in? How can we walk every day full of confidence in God, so that our lives shine as bright lights to the people around us? How can we stop being whipped Christians and be the mighty spiritual warriors we long to be? How do we walk arm in arm with Jesus and do the “greater things” that he promised?

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” – John 14:12

We want that! We want the power of God to work through us to open the eyes of the blind and free people from oppressive suffering. Why don’t we see more miracles around us?

For the next several weeks we’re going to really look at the issue of faith and answer these questions. First, we need to deal with some of the simple errors that we make, errors that get in the way.

Mistake #1: Forgetting Who God Is:

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” -John 4:24

Why are so few Christians throwing mountains into the ocean? Because God isn’t real or doesn’t do miracles any more? Because He’s a liar? Because He’s not paying attention? Because He doesn’t care? No. No. No. And no.

God is alive and He still does miracles: We can declare this with confidence by His constant work in our lives and the lives of countless people we meet through our ministry. Jesus Christ is alive and working in the world today! We know multitudes of people who have been healed and freed, cleansed and miraculously given provision. We know the daily guidance He gives us and the miracles we ourselves see. Precious people around the world can testify to the power of Jesus still at work today. (Several stories will come up during this series of articles, so be sure to read them all! For past stories, see the links below.)

God is a God of Truth:

“That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.” – Isaiah 65:16

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” - Numbers 23:19

God pays attention to everything:

“Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.” – Luke 12:6

God loves us extravagantly: One of the greatest insults we can give God is to suggest that He doesn’t love us. His love is so massive and deep and constant that when we catch just a whiff of it, it blows us over. He loves us with great patience, with longsuffering as He deals with our sin and foolishness and doubt and fear. He moves constantly in our lives to bring us into an ever deeper, truer, more pure relationship with Him. He doesn’t always do things the easy way, the way we often want Him to. He does things the right way – the way that will last.

“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.” -Ephesians 2:4-7

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” -Romans 8:38

When He doesn’t heal Grandma, and she feels like she doesn’t have enough faith and that God doesn’t love her, what do we say to her? In the leading of the Spirit, we need to put our arms around her as Jesus would, and we need to tell her, “Grandma, God does love you. Don’t be afraid. He loves you magnificently, and He longs for you to know His love. Trust Him. He’s very willing to take care of you in every way. It’s going to be okay. Trust Him.” He may still heal her, but whether He does or not, He absolutely loves Grandma. As Job said, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him,” (Job 13:15).

If we are going to approach God, we absolutely need to approach Him in the truth of who He is. That’s where faith starts.

“Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich [man] glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.” - Jeremiah 9:23-24

Scanning a Fearful Future: Part 4

America is on the precipice of economic implosion, according to Glenn Beck and others. A sudden, catastrophic transformation will jolt us one morning upon awakening to the fact that the way of life we’ve known is gone. The Fox News show host pronounces the nation’s doom if his prescription for cure isn’t followed.
If the cure is not taken, George Soros and his ilk, the New World Order titans, will march America’s citizenry into global gulag – on the broad way back to Babel. There, all of mankind will, like John Lennon once sang, “Be as one.”
Beck’s biblical allusions flow soothingly, once the dire diagnosis and prognosis for America’s socioeconomic illness are firmly grasped by his audience. And, a growing number of people seem mesmerized by the host’s descriptions, illustrations, and analyses.
The Lord God knew that being “as one” was a humanistic recipe for disaster, Beck pontificates. The Almighty rushed to the plains of Shinar – as recorded in Genesis chapter 11 - to spread humankind throughout all parts of the planet to avoid exactly what Soros and his buddies are again planning to foist upon earth dwellers. After laying out instructions and suggestions about how to survive some harsh, even terrifying, interim times just ahead by storing foods with long shelf lives and making other prudent preparations against the devastation the dollar's demise will assuredly bring, Beck shifts to spiritual counsel. He leads into this phase with his words at the rally, as mentioned earlier:

"Something that is beyond man is happening. America today begins to turn back to God. For too long, this country has wandered in darkness."
Almost tearful with emotion in his voice, Beck pleads for Americans to go to our knees and pray for the nation’s salvation. Then, with a great inhalation of patriotic resolve like that of Washington, Adams, Jefferson, and other of America’s founders, Beck, with Patton-like motivational rhetoric and steel in his voice, fortifies his troops for the battles ahead.
America will triumph through all the assaults against the republic, he declares with vigor, “because we are Americans.” Americans always do whatever it takes to overcome evil.
Glenn Beck exhorts Americans to invoke God’s name and help in the "take-back America" campaign. Good – so far as it goes.
With his next declaration, the Fox host frames his proclamation about the cure he envisions. He declares that the American people – those like the patriots in his audience - will do the necessary sacrificing and make the political and economic changes essential to set the U.S. ship of state back on course to a sound moral and socioeconomic mooring.
America will survive the great crash that is coming and, he implies, it will again become the greatest nation – although perhaps smaller, he adds - because of the goodness intrinsic within the American people. We are, he says, about to “witness miracles.”
And, this is the point where emotionally hyped fervor and patriotic resolve - no matter how sincere - depart from truth that resides within the heart of God’s prophetic Word. No matter how well constructed or intensive the efforts to implement it, Beck’s blueprint - or any humanistic blueprint - for saving the republic is doomed to failure.
To this point, Hal Lindsey’s view of Bible prophecy and Glenn Beck’s analyses and forecast for America’s destiny have run relatively parallel. Both Lindsey and Beck see a time coming in the near term when America will suffer financial collapse. It will be, they each predict, a time of national and worldwide societal darkness worse than the bleakest years of the Great Depression. Based upon the staggering debt of the U.S. and of most every other major nation on earth, theirs is the only conclusion that can reasonably be reached using informed rationale.
Lindsey and Beck also envision a singular moment when America and the world will change forever. It will be an instant so calamitous that it will, in effect, eventuate in a totally transformed global order for every facet of human interaction.
This, however, is where similarities in their view of the future end. Now the views diverge as dramatically as the difference between the eternal places called heaven and hell.
As I wrote in the beginning of "Scanning a Fearful Future," Glenn Beck hasn’t overtly interjected his Mormon beliefs into his foreboding predictions. Therefore, I won’t address his pronouncements in regard to his religious beliefs – that is, except to again point out that the Mormon view of the end of human history differs greatly from what the Bible says about the consummation of all things encapsulated by this thing God created for man called time.
I feel justified in mentioning this because Beck himself more and more brings the name “God” and the need for the exercise of “faith” into his presentations. However, his consistently stated viewpoint makes it obvious that he believes the fate of us all will play out in an all-earthly scenario, with America winning the day, if we all follow his prescription for dealing with the coming calamity.
Hal Lindsey, like me and those who believe that Bible prophecy clearly speaks of what conditions will be like at the very end of the age, also sees America and the world headed into an economic morass. Unlike Glenn Beck, however, we are of the conviction that if indeed we are at the end of this dispensation - the Age of Grace (Church Age) as we believe is the case - this nation is beyond anything human intervention can do to save it. Next time we will look at what I’m convinced is God’s view of things to come in the very near future.

AN EVER-INCREASING OUTPOURING

In chapter 47 of Ezekiel, the prophet was being shown the following: In the very last days, the church of Jesus Christ will be more glorious, more victorious, than in its entire history. The Lord’s true body isn’t going to weaken and sputter. It’s not going to dwindle in numbers, or decrease in power or spiritual authority. No, his church will go out in a blaze of power and glory. And it will enjoy the fullest revelation of Jesus that anyone has ever known.

Ezekiel writes, “The fish of the great sea [shall be] exceeding many” (Ezekiel 47:10). There is coming forth a body of believers who will swim in the rising waters of the Lord’s presence.

This is what God is showing us in Ezekiel’s vision of the rising waters (see Ezekiel 47:3–4).

Ezekiel is speaking here of an increase of the Holy Spirit. In the latter days, there will be an increase of God’s presence among his people.

The very spring and foundation of this river is the cross. We see a literal image of this in the following verse; “One of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water” (John 19:34).

This growing flow of water is the image of Pentecost, when the Holy Ghost was given to the disciples. Along with this gift of the Spirit, Christ’s followers were given a promise that he would be a river of life springing up within them. And that river would flow out into all the world (see John 7:38–39).

The river of life will crest just prior to the Lord’s coming. This is foretold in the vision given to Ezekiel. God took the prophet on an amazing trip. Carrying a measuring rod, the Lord paced off 1,000 cubits, about one-third of a mile. At that distance, the Lord and Ezekiel began walking in the water which at this point was ankle high.

Ezekiel testifies, “He brought me through the waters” (Ezekiel 47:3). And the Lord just kept urging the prophet onward, deeper and farther into the water. After another 1,000 cubits, the water came up to their knees. And it was still rising.

Do you see what was happening here? Ezekiel was walking into the future, right into our time. Christians today live in the final 1,000 cubits of the river in this vision. We’re in the very last measurement of water. And Ezekiel says that when he stepped to the edge of this measure, the water was too deep for him, too overwhelming. “I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in” (47:5).

I can only imagine this man’s wonder as the Lord asked him, “Ezekiel, what is this sea that has risen? If this river is all about life and resurrection power, who are the ones who’ll be so blessed to swim in such glory?” He could only envision what we now enjoy.

Maybe you’ve experienced the presence of Jesus abundantly. You may be thrilled by your present revelation of him. Yet, I tell you, you haven’t seen anything in comparison to the increase that’s coming to the righteous. Christ is going to open our eyes and wonderfully appear in our midst. He’ll reveal himself to us, pouring out on us as much of his life as we can possibly stand without already being in glorified bodies.

If you were visiting friends and looked out their window in the dusk expecting to see their dog, what might you see? A dog, of course. Even if it really turned out to be a rototiller! Often we “see” just what we expect to see.

Isn’t that how we live life? A lot depends on our frame of mind—how we have been taught to think and how we approach problems determines the solutions we come up with.

We can see the problems; but if our perspective is distorted, our “solutions” just won’t work. The decisions we make today determine how we will live tomorrow.

Satan (and this world) is all about problems; God is about solutions. The challenge is seeing things from God’s point of view. How does God look at the situation?

Gays Increasingly Accepted in the Philippines

As I have visited the Philippines on five occasions over the past 5 years and hope to live amongst my Filipino friends in the near future at least six months out of the year, I have become increasingly concerned over their tolerance of the gay lifestyle.

Filipino’s are fun loving, easy going individuals who accept just about anyone and remain friendly to all those who are friendly to them. This often leads to their acceptance of those who have chosen the gay lifestyle without saying much. Most Filipinos do not privately endorse sex between two men or two women as being acceptable, but to actually stand up and protest and say something against such actions goes against their non confrontational personalities.

Today I read an article that is included at the end of this post that was just one more very sad commentary on the direction that the Philippines has taken in the acceptance of those who are gay amongst them. Largely a solid traditional male-female family oriented culture, they are a close knit community who cherish family and the time they can spend together. As I sit here this cloudy morning in Cebu my wife and I sleep in the master bedroom of my wife’s Sister and Brother-in law. They gave up their comfort and convenience to make us as comfortable as possible. They will sleep downstairs in a small bedroom and forfeit their own privacy for the sake of family. Tomorrow we take a trip by car to the white sands and blue waters of Mactan Island to enjoy a family day together. It will be a day of laughter, love and the pleasure of just being together.

Family is very important to Filipino’s and I am personally concerned that their docile acceptance of homosexuals and lesbians into their society will turn the Philippines into a modern day sodom and gomorrah. The consequences of that acceptance will undoubtably be the deterioration of the family values they cherish and enjoy.

Every great culture which has embraced the gay lifestyle, has over the course of history collapsed into ruin. This is an undeniable fact and a statistic that is pointing the way towards to soon return of Jesus. The Bible describes the fact that in the last days before Jesus return, societies will increasingly endorse sodomy and lesbianism as an acceptable lifestyle and this will turn their culture away from God and cause their downfall.

God does not hate those who are gay but He does hate their chosen sin of sexual perversion that diminishes them as human beings and takes away from their souls day by day. By repentance and the forsaking of that lifestyle there is forgiveness and cleansing from sin just as the Lord cleanses and forgives all other sins.

I pray that as you read the following article your heart is stirred to pray for the leadership of the Philippines, over 93 million people living on over 7,200 islands, that they will begin to make decisions that will turn their people away from the acceptance of the gay lifestyle and once again lift them to a nation of blessing by God as they honor Him in their wonderful culture and society.

MANILA — Surrounded by votive candles and flowers, the couple looked resplendent, both wearing Indian kurtas, holding a bouquet together, positively in love.

It was the wedding night, in the garden of a friend’s home in a Manila suburb, of Terence Krishna Lopez and Edwin Quinsayas, a gay couple.

“This is the happiest night, ever,” Mr. Lopez said, beaming as friends gathered around and congratulated the two men.

“We had to take what we have to the next level,” he said later, explaining why he and Mr. Quinsayas had arranged the ceremony, over which a friend officiated. “Why should heterosexual couples get all the fun?”

Across the Philippines, events like this — often referred to as “blessings” or “holy unions” — have become increasingly common as gays and lesbians try to assert their rights in this relatively tolerant, but still legally restrictive, predominantly Roman Catholic country.

Unlike in nearby Malaysia, sodomy between consenting adults is not illegal. Manila and other cities have a vibrant gay scene. Sexual orientation does not provide an exemption from military service.

Still, legislation that would outlaw discrimination against gays in the workplace or housing remains stalled, opposed by the powerful Roman Catholic hierarchy and its allies in the Philippine Congress.

Same-sex unions have no legal standing. The Family Code defines marriage as a union only between a man and a woman. Some Philippine legislators — reacting to the drive to legalize same-sex marriage — have filed bills in the House of Representatives and Senate that would explicitly ban such unions, and, in one proposal, outlaw heterosexual marriages where one partner has undergone a sex change and is therefore not a “natural born” man or woman.

“Marriage has always been between a man and a woman. No law can change that,” said the Rev. Melvin Castro, executive director of the Commission on Family and Life of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines, in an interview.

A gay union “is an exercise in futility,” he added. “It’s a ceremony empty of any religious or legal effect.”

But many gay Filipinos have been trying to achieve just that, seeking religious sanction for ceremonies of commitment and applying the law creatively to provide legal protection for relationships.

“This is important to us. Why would anybody want us, who believe in the same God, deprived of this simple joy?” asked Regen Luna, a pastor with the Metropolitan Community Church, a Protestant denomination founded in California in 1968 with a special mission to gay, bisexual and transgender people.

Last year, Pastor Luna presided over a holy union of a dozen gay couples in a resort in Cavite, a province just south of Manila where he grew up and where he has a chapel that serves as an Internet cafe when it is not being used for religious services.

“Unions like this are also held in other M.C.C. chapters in other parts of the Philippines,” Pastor Luna said after the ceremony, which included gay men performing a dance routine.

Such events are not always this elaborate, or as romantic as the one celebrated by Mr. Lopez and Mr. Quinsayas. A few days before their ceremony, a U.S. cleric named Richard Mickley officiated over a holy union of two women inside a Starbucks in Quezon City.

Over coffee, he reminded them of their responsibilities to each other and why their union was important to the Philippine gay community. He and the couple held hands and closed their eyes in prayer.

Most of the Starbucks customers seemed oblivious to what was happening. But Father Mickley, as he is known, said it was as momentous as any of the unions he had overseen since 1994, the year he first solemnized a gay wedding in the Philippines.

“What I do is a religious ceremony,” he said. In deference to Philippine law, “We don’t use the word ‘marriage,”’ he said. “We use ‘holy union’ instead.”Father Mickley, 82, originally from Ohio, studied at a Catholic seminary and served in the Korean War. After realizing he was gay, however, he divorced his wife and became a pastor of the Metropolitan Community Church. He said he came to the Philippines in 1991 after reading letters from gay Filipinos complaining that no religious group was looking out for their welfare.

Father Mickley ran the church and officiated over many of the same-sex unions here until 16 years ago, when he retired because of his age.

He went on to found the Order of St. Aelred, named for the 12th-century English monk some gay people have embraced as a patron saint. Father Mickley is also the bishop in the Philippines of the Catholic Diocese of One Spirit, a U.S.-based Christian organization devoted to living according to the ways of the early church.

Father Mickley said that he had stopped counting the number of such unions he has performed — “It’s in the hundreds” — but that hardly a day goes by that he does not receive a call requesting a blessing and hardly a week without him fulfilling such a request.

Indeed, while at the Starbucks where he blessed the two women, he received a call from a lesbian in the southern city of Davao wondering whether she and her lover could fly to Manila soon to be wed.

“This happens 5, 10 times a day,” Father Mickley said. “I have held ceremonies in little chapels, beaches, hotel function rooms, even hotel ballrooms.”

While gay people generally find considerable social acceptance in the Philippines, they often find themselves running into resistance once an attempt is made to turn this into something more political, like legal rights, said Ging Cristobal, project coordinator in Asia for the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission. She recalled a Roman Catholic Church statement in 2000 that described proposed anti-discrimination legislation as an “immorality bill.”

Such moves to influence legislation have turned her, and others, against the church authorities, she said, but many Filipino gays and lesbians yearn to overcome the divide between their personal identity and their religion. A ceremony that confers a blessing on their union becomes all the more significant.

“This could be a purely Filipino thing — harmonizing sexuality and faith,” said Ms. Cristobal, who is based in the Philippines.

The challenge now, she added, is to bring these unions beyond mere symbolism. In the absence of a gay-marriage law, some gay couples are resorting to wills and power of attorney to give their unions more legal force.

Ms. Cristobal said that she and her partner had granted each other power of attorney, allowing them to buy property together. On various documents they have listed each other as heir. Ms. Cristobal also plans to adopt her partner’s daughter.

“The point is, each of you is holding on to something that is real and binding,” she said.

Three years ago, she and her partner decided to formalize their union with a commitment ceremony. Few events have made her happier, Ms. Cristobal said.

“The right to wed is a basic right,” she said. “It affirms our position in society.”

Driest November for Decades

Israeli water consumers are being urged by the government to do everything to conserve the precious commodity that is becoming more and more scarce in the entire Middle East. The new conservation push comes after officials announced that last month was the driest November on record since 1968. Meteorological forecasts predict that winter rainfall will fall short of normal for the sixth year running, and might be the driest since records began being kept in 1927.

Officials also recently announced that the country’s main natural fresh water reservoir, the biblical Sea of Galilee, is currently dropping by over one foot every day due to evaporation and the low level of water entering the lake from the northern portion of the Jordan River. Officials say residential water use in Israel take up almost half of all available daily resources, while agriculture uses over half of that amount with industries consuming the rest. Several desalination plants which will help alleviate the water shortfall are currently being constructed, but the first one is not scheduled to go online until 2013.
