A previous blog post, citing Venezuela’s large military purchases from Russia, noted that Venezuela was sliding toward the Gog-Magog alliance, even though it is located in the Western Hemisphere. The links below affirm that Venezuela has now merged into the Gog-Magog alliance with no reservations.
The first link reports that Russia is going to sell a nuclear reactor to Venezuela. This is how the Iranian nuclear program began, with Russia selling a nuclear reactor to Iran. Does oil-rich Venezuela need nuclear energy? Hardly. There almost certainly has to be a hidden agenda with this deal. The deal will allow many Russian technicians and advisors into Venezuela, and I’m sure they will have other missions besides assembling a peaceful nuclear reactor there. I’ll even offer a speculative possibility. When/if Iran and Venezuela obtain nuclear weaponry, their weaponry may have been produced indigenously or the warheads may have been simply transferred from Russia to Iran and Venezuela under heavy Russian guard. Russia and the USA have a SALT Treaty which allows each nation to inspect each other’s nuclear stockpiles and which limits the number of warheads each side can have. Russia could “hide” some of its own warheads by transferring them to such nations as Iran and Venezuela to pretend that it has fewer nukes than it really has.
A bilateral SALT treaty made some sense when the USA and Russia were the undisputed global superpowers. However, now that China is a major nuclear power and no one knows how many nukes China is producing in its underground facilities, a bilateral American-Chinese SALT Treaty makes less sense. One needs to compare the entire NATO stockpile of nuclear weapons vs. the combined number of nuclear weaponry stockpiled by Russia, China, Iran, North Korea (and soon Venezuela?). China is Russia’s strategic ally and China isn’t telling anyone how many nukes it has or is making. With all the technology China has (or has stolen) from the USA and all its ore reserves, China can make a lot of nukes, but they aren’t counted or monitored in the SALT Treaty.
The second link reveals that Venezuela is also forging close ties with Belarus, another solid member of the Gog-Magog alliance and a nation which is solidly in the Russian orbit in spite of these nations having periodic differences. Venezuela is agreeing to send large amounts of its oil to Belarus to refine, and this oil will, in turn, be sold to European nations (keeping them dependent on Gog-Magog nations for their energy needs).
Venezuela may also be making deals with a third nation in the Gog-Magog alliance. The third link reports that while Russia has delayed shipments of a key anti-missile system to Iran due to international objections, Russia may actually be arranging to ship them to Iran secretly by sending them to Venezuela first. Venezuela can then ship all or some of these high-tech anti-missile systems to Iran, and Russia could still technically claim that it had not sent them to Iran.
Cuba has always been a loyal Russian client in the Western Hemisphere, so it is a member of the Gog-Magog alliance. Venezuela is now joining the Gog-Magog alliance in a big way. I expect other Latin American nations are likely to follow in the future. Mexico is being destabilized by drug-wars and increased violence along the American-Mexican border. If Russia and China forge alliances with several of the drug lords in Mexico, that nation could effectively disintegrate or Mexico could become like Pakistan—a nation which still exists but has no effective control over a large portion of its territory. How hard would it be to smuggle Russian and Chinese weaponry, missiles, etc. into those drug-lord dominated regions along the US-Mexican border? I don’t think it would be very hard at all. The border is already a war-zone between the Mexican army and drug-lord forces. The fourth link and fifth link contain reports that the border region is so dangerous that the US government has warned Americans to stay out of certain park areas and that Mexican army helicopters have even strayed over American soil. The last two links document a very large cache of smuggled weapons that was seized by the Mexican army a mere 70 miles south of the US border. The sixth link (from Ron Paul’s website) describes the weapons haul, and the seventh link has a photo gallery of the weapons cache which you can view for yourself.
Things are getting much more dangerous in our own hemisphere as the Gog-Magog alliance exploits every opportunity it has to infiltrate America.
